This isn't a sign that you lack concern; sometimes, intervening won't be beneficial and might actually aggravate the situation. Not every conflict is yours to engage in. At times, it's important to simply listen to gain a better understanding.

Suffering comes to tear us apart
It pierces our peace, so we fall apart
God embraces us, He knows our heart

Tears and fears never seem to depart
Memories linger pulling us apart
God wipes our tears, He knows our heart

Questions abound, where do we start?
The devil aims to devour and take us apart
God empowers us, He knows our heart

God is not distant; He wants to impart
He has a purpose and plan, so we can restart
God gives us a fresh start, He knows our heart
