Pedreel’s Music Studio located in Las Piñas City, was founded in 1998 by Bedi Rachel P. Casilihan, full college scholar, a consistent dean’s lister, graduated cm laude, Bachelor of Music Graduate Batch ’83 , Major in Music Education of St Paul’s University Manila ( formerly St. Our philosophy, “ Every individual deserves the opportunity to know, enjoy and grow with music.” In the stretch of

on going eighteen years of service, our primary aim is MUSIC EDUCATION. We offer applied music lessons on instruments and voice, taught by teachers who are qualified and experienced. We aim to provide quality music education, and guided by an international examining board: Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Syllabus of Teaching. Our studio is an advocate of ABRSM and recognized by British Council, local representative of ABRSM. On its 18th year (2015) the studio has expanded its services to: Music Arranging, Recording, Music Production (i.e. corporate/commissioned jingle, film scoring), and live music services (i.e. weddings, debuts, and other special ocasions) , initiated by the son of the founder, Pedreel Christian P. Casilihan, a college scholar from Music Production of De La Salle - College of St. Our goal is to provide effective and efficient music education, quality studio recording and music services that would guarantee satisfaction. Pedreel’s Music Studio is surely a home for individuals, promising artists and musicians whose passion is music, a ground where our studio is solidly built on: PASSION TO TEACH MUSIC, PASSION TO PERFORM MUSIC AND PASSION TO CREATE MUSIC. Performance as a whole
There was a sense of performance commitment, but room for more outward communication. Each piece was framed by a sense of stillness before progressing to the next item, and the different genres each displayed some stylistic awareness. However, the few lapses in technical control and delivery together with small errors in notes and rhythm , meant that interpretative realisation was not consistently communicated, and detracted from the performance as a whole. Nonetheless, there was some idiomatic use of colour and expressive moments so that overall, instrument management was mainly responsive to the demands of the programme.

Performance as a whole
The whole programme was performed with control and focus. You created space between pieces and a sense of outward awareness was conveyed. Distinctive musical features were mainly fluently portrayed and there was sensitive musical involvement, particularly in the Nakada. Occasional blemishes and unevenness in tone limited effectiveness at times, but themes were often musically shaped and controlled. The poised and stylish opening created a positive start and the playful energy of the Joplin concluded the whole performance in style.

Congratulations! This is an excellent result which reflects musical involvement and personal commitment. All the best in your future musical journey.

Control of basic piano techniques throughout and a solid and secure sense of time and pulse consistently across the performance pieces. A clear and even sound was produced on the instrument and notation was accurate and understood. Simple melodies were projected and articulated with confidence and basic left hand accompaniment were accurate throughout. Technical exercises were well performance today with confidence and accuracy.
No significant areas of improvement were identified in this excellent graded certificate.
Thank you for taking your graded certificate with RSL. This was a confident and assured performance throughout with the technical and stylistic demands of the repertoire being effortlessly met with distinction.
