EASTER: He Is Risen

Easter Sunday is one of the most important days in Christianity. It marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ—three days after His crucifixion. According to the Gospels, His tomb was found empty, and He appeared to His followers, confirming that death had been overcome. What once seemed like the end became the foundation of faith, hope, and new life.

After the stillness of Black Saturday, Easter Sunday represents renewal. It is a reminder that even after loss, suffering, and uncertainty, restoration is possible. For believers, the resurrection is not only a historical and spiritual event, but also a message that God’s promise remains true—that life is stronger than death, and love is stronger than fear.

This day also fulfills what had long been prophesied and promised: that Jesus would rise again. His resurrection is seen as the ultimate act of salvation, offering forgiveness and the chance for a new beginning to all who believe.

Easter Sunday speaks to something deeply human. It reflects the quiet truth that after our hardest moments, we can rise too. That healing takes time, but it comes. That endings are not always final.

As we remember this day, we are invited not only to celebrate, but to reflect—to hold on to hope, to choose faith even in uncertainty, and to believe that light will always follow darkness.

𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

After we die, some people believe our brain replays our best memories in seven minutes, while others believe our mind goes blank. But many people believe we see a light coming from the end of a long, dark tunnel—that light being God.

If it were not for Jesus Christ, we might not be able to see that light. On this day, we commemorate the burial of our savior after many long hours of suffering for his people. Black Saturday, also known as Holy Saturday, represents the time of darkness, reflection, and mourning after the death of our savior and the anticipation of the resurrection on Easter Sunday.

This day reminds us that Jesus did not die for himself; he died for love. His heart overflowed with love for his people. There was so much love that he sacrificed himself for our sins. So let's take this time to reflect and meditate on the sacrifice of our savior. Furthermore, let us pray and strengthen our faith and relationship with God.

Never forget that, out of love, the Lord gave his only son's life for us, and that love is what binds us all together.

𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮: 𝙊𝙪𝙧 𝙎𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙎𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚

Today, we remember the suffering and death of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who faced unimaginable pain and humiliation, yet in His final hours had much love for His people. Despite His sorrow, the term “Good” refers to “God’s Friday,” because it is believed that Jesus’ death was necessary to reconnect humanity with God.

This day is not only about commemorating, but understanding the depth of Christ’s love. A love that chose sacrifice over comfort, mercy over judgment, and obedience over fear. Good Friday invites us to look within ourselves to forgive more freely, and to love more deeply—just as He did.

Take this time to pause; as we fast and abstain, may we also let go of the negativity that distances us from God. May this solemn day lead us closer to grace, strengthen our faith, and prepare us for the hope of the Resurrection.

𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵: 𝗠𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆

What would you do if you would die tomorrow? Would you have chosen your last words already?

The Son of God, Jesus had known that he would die painfully his entire life, yet on the Last Supper, with a robe wrapped around on his waist and his bare hands, he chose to wash his disciple’s feet. This act of servitude and love even until the end, is commemorated every Maundy Thursday, the Fifth Day of Holy Week.

The word “Maundy” comes from Latin “mandatum”, meaning commandment, and if on this occasion that Jesus chose to serve others before his own death, we must also choose to keep showing love in every act to each other, per Jesus’s words “I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you.”

Whatever faith or experience we have, it has always been there, whether it is in divine scriptures or moral compasses, humanity’s principle is love.
