How I Started My Journey as a Creative Guy 🎨
My love for art and technology began in my childhood. I was always mesmerized by how blank canvases could transform into breathtaking masterpieces. Watching art shows like Art Angel and Art Attack, as well as vividly styled cartoons, fueled my fascination with the creative process. I wasn’t just interested in the finished product—I wanted to know how things worked behind the scenes, and how raw ideas were shaped into visual wonders.
When I first picked up a pencil to draw, I started with cartoon and anime characters from my favorite shows. With each sketch, my passion for creating grew stronger. I discovered new art forms, studied different styles, and admired artists who inspired me to push boundaries. Every day was an opportunity to learn, improve, and apply these lessons to my work.
At 18, my creative journey took a professional turn. I began designing logos for small businesses, using my growing skills to help others visually express their brands. Around this time, my brother Waren Gonzaga introduced me to Web3 and the world of blockchain technology. Initially, I thought it was just another tech trend, but I soon realized it was an entirely new frontier—fresh, exciting, and full of possibilities.
I started as a video editor for Web3Philippines, with only basic editing skills. It was uncharted territory, but I embraced the challenge. Along the way, I met incredible mentors like Kristian Quirapas and Alvin Reyes, who helped me hone my craft and inspired me to become a versatile, all-around creative professional.
Working with them over the past year has been a journey filled with hard work, fun, and growth. I’ve made mistakes, but I see them as lessons that fuel my progress. This path has taught me that creativity is a continuous process of learning, adapting, and evolving.
My creative journey feels like an RPG game. Each project is a quest, and each challenge a boss level. With every experience, my skills level up, and my character in this creative adventure becomes stronger.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of my journey so far. Your guidance and support have shaped me into the creative I am today—and I know this is just the beginning of an even greater adventure.
