With Rev. Fr. Julius M. Teaño of St. Isidore Parish Church leading the service, the community united in a meaningful celebration of faith, offering heartfelt gratitude for the abundant blessings that continue to enrich the campus.

This heartfelt gathering ushers in a new academic year, seeking divine blessings and guidance as the community embarks on a journey of growth and learning in the months to come.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝐂𝐒𝐔 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐦 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐓𝐕𝐄𝐓 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀-𝐀𝐜𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐁𝐏𝐏, 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐂 𝐈𝐈

LASAM, Cagayan — Cagayan State University (CSU) Lasam Campus has officially expanded its Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) offerings after earning accreditation from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) to offer Bread and Pastry Production (BPP) NC II and Driving NC II.

This milestone accreditation followed a thorough inspection by TESDA officials at CSU-Lasam on March 14, 2025, which was designed to determine the institution's preparedness to act as an accredited center for these two new programs.

Upon successful accomplishment of the rigorous assessment, the official certificates of accreditation, signed by TESDA Region 2 Regional Director Ashary A. Banto, were officially issued on March 21, 2025.

With this recognition, BPP NC II and Driving NC II now join Electronics Products Assembly and Servicing (EPAS) as the three programs currently offered by CSU-Lasam's Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET), further strengthening the campus’ commitment to providing skills-based, industry-relevant education.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒| CSU Lasam Kicks Off AY 2025–2026 with Sparrows' Grand Salubong

LASAM, Cagayan — Cagayan State University – Lasam Campus welcomed the Academic Year 2025–2026 with its annual Sparrows' Grand Salubong, held today at the Laboratory and Academic Building. This year’s theme, “Meet, Greet, and Commit: Embracing New Horizons in SPARROWS' Chronicles of Triumph and Excellence,” set the tone for an inspiring start to the school year.

Returning students from the College of Teacher Education (CTED), College of Industrial Technology (CIT), and College of Information and Computing Sciences (CICS), together with the faculty and administrative personnel, joined in the grand parade to welcome the new members of the CSU Lasam community.

The program officially began with warm opening remarks from Jennylyn L. Alnajes, Campus Chief of Staff who highlighted the essence of being a CSU Lasam "Sparrow," emphasizing the symbolic traits students should embody.

"Sparrows are wise and focused. They focus their energy and expertise to the things that they want to achieve. We at CSU-Lasam aim to embody the characteristics of a sparrow," the Chief stated.

Moreover, Mark Jellicoe Rodillas, CSC Co-Adviser presented the newly elected officers of Campus Student Council for the Academic Year 2025-2026.

Campus Human Resource Management Officer Catherine M. Salva introduced the campus administrative personnel, followed by Campus Academic Coordinator Judelyn U. Cantor, who presented the esteemed faculty members from the three academic departments.

In his closing message, CSC President Jomar M. Godoy welcomed the freshmen with gratitude and inspiration.

"Let this day remind us of the strength we hold as one community—bound by shared goals, collective dreams, and the pursuit of excellence," Pres. Godoy stated.

The event concluded with a campus tour and departmental orientations for the incoming freshmen, marking the start of their academic journey at CSU Lasam.
