Negative effects of drugs on our health:
1. Damage to the Brain

Long-term use may lead to mental disorders like anxiety, depression, or psychosis.
Some drugs permanently alter brain chemistry.
2. Heart and Circulatory Problems
Drug use can increase heart rate and blood pressure.
It can lead to heart attacks, stroke, or irregular heartbeat.
Injecting drugs increases the risk of infected blood vessels and heart infections.
3. Liver and Kidney Damage
The liver processes drugs, and prolonged use can lead to liver failure.
Kidneys also get strained, especially when filtering toxic substances.
4. Respiratory Issues
Smoking or inhaling drugs can damage lungs.
May lead to chronic cough, lung infections, or even lung cancer.
5. Weakened Immune System
Drugs reduce the body’s ability to fight off infections and diseases.
Drug users are more susceptible to illnesses like tuberculosis or pneumonia.
