Prayer to Saint Bonaventure
O glorious Saint Bonaventure,
seraphic doctor and holy teacher,
inflamed with love for the Crucified Christ,
you sought wisdom not for its own sake
but to better know, love, and serve God.
Intercede for us today,
that we may grow in true knowledge and understanding of our faith,
and that our hearts may be inflamed with the same divine fire that consumed you.
Help us to live humbly,
to seek peace, and to follow Christ more closely,
so that we too may reflect God’s glory in the world.
Saint Bonaventure,
pray for us,
that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Amen.
