Gubat, Sorsogon - Pagkakaisa ang susi sa mga pqgbabago sa Barangay Luna Candol sa pangunguna ni Bgy.Capt.Augusto "Ago" Enorme.

Sa ngayon ang kanilang barangay hall ay solar powered na, makakatipid na ang barangay, renewable energy pa ang ganit nila.

BARANGAY KAPITAN PANG 38 BESES NANG NAGDONATE NG DUGO

Bulan, Sorsogon - Pinangunahan ni Kap Jojo Geraldino ng Zone 2, Bulan, Sorsogon ang kanyang mga kabarangay sa pag-aalay ng dugo para sa isang Blood Donation activity sa kanilang barangay.

Sa kanyang social media account ay masayang ibinahagi ni Kap Jojo ang mga larawan ng blood letting activity nitong Mayo 29, 2026 kung saan kasabay na kinumpirna nito na naka 38 beses na siyang nagdonate ng dugo para sa mga nangangailangan.

Ito na rin marahil kaya malakas ang suporta ng kanyang mga kabarangay sa mga ganitong aktibidad ng kabayanihan sa barangay ay mismong si kapitan ang nangunguna dito.

MATNOG'S NATIVE CUISINE FESTIVAL SHALL LIVE ON - DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM BICOL

Matnog, Sorsogon - After a successful launch of the first ever Matnog Culinary Festival, DOT Bicol Regional Director Herbie Aguas is optimistic that this will be the birth of the dreamt Food Tourism in this Southern part of Bicol.

Regional Director Herbie Aguas proposed that this event be replicated in some parts of Bicol to spur tourism promotions through Food Extravaganzas showcasing native cuisine.

During the 1st Matnog Culinary Festival local chefs displayed their innert culinary prowess to cook native dishes from some indigenous vegetable ingredients and different seafoods available in the locality.

Aguas was inspired by the initiative of Mayor Bobet Lee Rodrigueza of spearheading a Food Festival worth replicating by other localities catering tourism as its major product. video MIO staff

MGA BNS SA MATNOG TUMANGGAP NG AYUDA GALING SA PROBINSYA

Matnog, Sorsogon - Habang hinihintay na matanggap ang kanilang dagdag na benepisyo galing sa munisipyo ay isa pang ayuda ang tinanggap ng 143 na mga Barangay Nutrition Scholars BNS galing sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Sorsogon.

Bawat isa sa kanila ay tumanggap ng P 3,600 na halaga o P1,200 bawat buwan na allowance maliban pa sa kanilang natatanggap na honoraria galing sa barangay at sa kanilang matatanggap na dagdag benepisyo galing sa munisipyo.
