𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 | ACQUAINTANCE PARTY WILL PUSH THROUGH TOMORROW

Upon consideration of several factors, the Acquaintance Party that was announced cancelled yesterday, will push through tomorrow, July 26. However, there will be a slight change of time. From 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, the party is moved from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

The following conditions are considered for the Acquaintance Party resumption:

1. Improving weather conditions
2. Unavailable venue for later date re-scheduling of Acquaintance Party
3. Clamor of many students for its resumption as originally planned
4. Early start. 2 pm and Early end 9 pm of the activity
5. Required/mandatory Parent waiver for those who will join the Acquaintance Party
6. Police marshals will be deployed during the activity

All other safety precautions are hereby delegated to the parents such that must there be real or perceived danger that will compromise the life of their child then it is recommended not to let their child or children join the Acquaintance Party anymore.

𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 | Due to the unpredictable weather conditions as well as classes and work cancellations for the past few days, “Totally Classic, Enjoy the Magic” will be rescheduled to a later date. Hence, the acquaintance party initially announced to commence this Saturday, July 26, is temporarily cancelled.

Moreover, classes are still cancelled tomorrow relative to the adivory from the City Goverment of Legazpi.

𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 | THE MESSENGER SY 2025 - 2026 ONBOARDING

The Messenger, official school publication of Computer Systems Institute, welcomes the new set of staffers including twelve (12) newly-admitted student journalists for the school year 2025 - 2026, through this year's Onboarding.

Onboarding is an annual event of the publication, welcoming new staffers and discussing the plans and programs of The Messenger for the school year. This season, the group was joined by two (2) former staffers, Ms. Wilmerl Bergancia and Ms. Mikaela Virtus.

Likewise, alternative modes of learning are recommended.

Hence, classes at Computer Systems Institute are also cancelled today, July 18.

This is relative to the advisory from the Albay Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office posted earlier this morning. Meanwhile, classes in the college department shall remain not suspended unless otherwise declared.

𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 | Another results for you, CSIans! The members of the first CSI Band were finally chosen. CSI, meet our first members!

After the screening held last July 5 at CSI Library, only five (5) students successfully made it to the team. Chosen according to their skills and chemistry with one another, there's only one slot left--a drummer. Should you are interested to be the band's drummer, visit us at Faculty Room (CSI Main).

The band is an initiative of the Student Affairs Office, in collaboration with the mother organizations, Supreme Student Government, College Students Council, and The Messenger.
