This theme felt like stepping into a fairytale that didn’t exist yet, so we just… made one (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)♡ We shot this one deep in the trees where everything felt so still, and honestly? It was such a vibe Something about the contrast between her bright cloak and the moody forest just clicked. (⁠´⁠ε⁠｀⁠ ⁠)

Southern Luzon Intramurals 2025 🧡💚

Last week, I had the chance to cover Southern Luzon’s Intramurals Week, and honestly, it was such a fun surprise (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠) It was my first time visiting SL since I’m a BU student, but the moment I got there, everyone, from the students to the teachers, was just so warm and welcoming. It made me feel right at home while documenting the event (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)

I mostly covered day 1 and 4 since I was juggling a few things in between, but trust me, there was no shortage of moments to capture. Day 1 kicked off strong with the opening ceremonies, filled with cheers, performances, and oath signings — all wrapped in that competitive energy that just screams school pride. Then came day 4, which featured the Mr. & Ms. SLTCFI Pageant held at Embarcadero, and the confidence, the production, the crowd, everything was on point (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

A little glam, a little chaos, and a whole lotta attitude 💅✨

This theme was such a blast to bring to life!! It was a bit chaotic though — we literally started right in the middle of Legazpi City during rush hour (yeah… imagine people trying to cross the street while we’re out here posing like we’re in Tokyo Fashion Week ಥ⁠‿⁠ಥ huhu). After surviving that, we headed to Ibalong Park to wrap up the rest of the shoot and cool off a bit (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

Big thanks to my amazing co-creatives for all the ideas and energy, and of course to Heather Roze for absolutely serving every single look. Besides the shoot itself, bruhhh, Kuya Lau literally held me hostage in his car!! Argg we went all the way to Ginobatan and back to Legazpi instead of just dropping me home (⁠ノ⁠｀⁠⌒⁠´⁠)⁠ノ┻⁠┻ But honestly, I had such a great time with everyone — 10/10 chaos, would do again :>

BU Hataw 2025 🧡💙

The BU Sports Complex turned into a sea of blue and orange last Monday as students came together to bring this year’s BU Hataw to life, a tradition that never fails to spark excitement, pride, and unity (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)

Though the day ended on a difficult note, I truly hope everyone affected by the incident is recovering well. Despite what happened, the moments before it were filled with laughter, energy, and school spirit that reminded everyone why BU Hataw is such a special event. Even in the middle of chaos, people still found light, connection, and joy, and that says a lot about the community we’ve built. (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡

Fujifilm Nation-Wide Photowalk 📸

Finally got around to posting some shots from last Sunday's Fujifilm Philippines photowalk! (⁠-⁠_⁠-⁠;⁠) I’ve been holding off on posting these since midterm season hit like a truck, but going through the photos again felt like reliving that day frame by frame ehh. There was something beautiful about the mix of chaos and calm in the streets that day, light spilling between buildings, people laughing, shutters clicking in sync. (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)

I found myself walking beside strangers who quickly turned into friends, and it reminded me why I love joining such events so much. It’s not just about the photos, it’s about the people, the stories, and the moments you almost didn’t catch. (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)⁠♡

The Thorn Princess 🥀

This shoot’s been sitting in my archives for a while now, but I finally got around to sharing it! (⁠ ⁠◜⁠‿⁠◝⁠ ⁠)♡ I wanted to test how my new camera and lenses would hold up in low light, so naturally, I thought, why not try a night cosplay shoot? There’s really only one person I could drag into something like this at the time, and that’s Dawn (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠).

It ended up being such a fun (and kinda chaotic) late-night session. The rooftop lights, the quiet city below, and that slightly mysterious vibe all worked perfectly for the theme. I loved playing around with the shadows and the red highlights, it made everything feel so dramatic yet soft at the same time (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)

Tara PhotoWalk Tayo × Canon PH 2025

So unlike last year, where I kinda just sat on my photos for months (lol), this time I’m actually posting them just a few hours after the event, haha Progress!! (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠) honestly I had such a fun time today. Got to meet up with some of my older friends and also connect with a bunch of new ones too. Back in 2024 I was still pretty shy and stuck in my shell, but today I actually felt comfortable enough to talk with so many people I didn’t get the chance to before, which made the experience even better. (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)

The cover photo is also my entry for the contest this time around. Huge thanks to Tara Photowalk Tayo and Canon Philippines for putting together yet another amazing community bonding activity, already hyped for the next one! (⁠^⁠^⁠)

We found the perfect little spot in Tizan, surrounded by blooms, quiet air, and dreamy countryside charm, so of course we decided to shoot there. Buchella 2025 🎪✨

Two days of beautiful chaos, laughter echoing through the campus, vibrant energy in every corner, and the most creative outfits I’ve seen all year. From boho fits to full-on festival glam, and it honestly felt like stepping into our own little version of Coachella, right here at BU (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)

A figure who drifts through shadows and abandoned halls, hidden, faceless, and fleeting.

Here's a quick experimental shoot with my buddy Troy (⁠｡⁠ﾉ⁠ω⁠＼⁠｡⁠) We stumbled upon an abandoned building near our old school and thought, why not explore and shoot there? Surprisingly, it turned out pretty good! I was aiming for that mysterious aura of a figure lurking in the dark, though medyo kulang sa shadows, close enough (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠).

In a world where swords clashed and stories unfolded beneath the golden sun, I found myself chasing magic through my lens. When I heard Anigaiden was bringing a Renaissance Fair to life, I knew I had to be there, not just as a guest, but as a storyteller. The fairgrounds were alive with color, creativity, and characters from every realm. Even the heat couldn’t ruin the charm (⁠´⁠ε⁠｀⁠ ⁠)
