How to become a Bookkeeper VA? 📚💻

Based on my personal experience, hindi kailangan magmadali agad sa accounting software.

Start with the basic foundations of bookkeeping and accounting—terminologies, debit and credit, T-accounts, at manual bookkeeping.

Kapag solid ang foundation mo, mas madali mong maiintindihan kung ano talaga ang nangyayari behind every transaction.

Ito rin ang magiging edge mo sa mga nag-start agad sa software without understanding the basics.

Next, optional pero highly recommended: learn Excel. Kahit basic formulas lang muna tulad ng SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, data validation, at cell referencing.

Malaking tulong ito para mapabilis at ma-organize ang manual bookkeeping process.

Then, kapag confident ka na sa fundamentals, saka ka mag-aral ng accounting software tulad ng QuickBooks or Xero.

Hindi mo kailangang aralin lahat sabay-sabay. Choose one, practice consistently, at master it step by step.

Remember: hindi paunahan ang journey. Mas importante ang strong foundation, consistent practice, at willingness to keep learning.

Start small. Stay patient. Your future Bookkeeper VA career begins with one lesson at a time. ✨
