To mark the end of a meaningful school year, graduating and completing students, together with other students, teachers, and parents from BUCEILS-HS, gathered for a thanksgiving Mass at St. Gregory the Great Cathedral in Legazpi City on Monday, May 26, 2025.

The Mass, which was presided over by Rev. Fr. Cipriano Ante, was organized by the SCAP BUHS Chapter, bringing together the BUCEILS-HS community in gratitude and reflection as students prepared to close a chapter and welcome new beginnings.

All members of the BUCEILS-HS were invited to the Mass, which was held a day before the official graduation and completion rites.

1st BU Foreign Language Festival Commences at BUCEILS-HS

The Bicol University Language Center celebrated its first Foreign Language Festival with the theme โ€œForeign Language: A Window to the Worldโ€ at the Bicol University College of Education Integrated Laboratory High School (BUCEILS-HS) on April 30, 2025.

The event kicked off with a parade in which student participants showcased the foreign languages they represented, followed by performances from the Mayon Dance Troupe and talks from invited guest speakers.

The festival served as a culminating activity for BUCEILS-HS students from Grades 7 to 10 under the new curriculum.

Grade 7 - Scholarship showcased Japanese; Grade 8 - Leadership featured Korean; Grade 9 - Character presented French; and Grade 10 - Service exhibited Italian.

Bueรฑos from BUCEILS-HS JHS and SHS showcased their wits and knowledge during the METAGISAN: DUNONG PANAHON 2025, an inter-school competition on meteorology, held last March 22, 2025, at the Bicol University College of Science.

Representing the Senior High School Division, Kimberly Jamie Danao, Axel John Delino, and Angelica Jean Equipado, coached by Maria Teodora Loรฑosa, managed to secure 1st Runner-Up.

Meanwhile, in the Junior High School Division, Rafaela Elloise Placides, Althea Gail Concepcion, and Jaliyah Jade Sarturio also took part in the said quiz bee organized by the BU Storm, a college-based organization of students from Bicol University BS Meteorology.

This event marked the first inter-school seminar and competition hosted by the College of Science, with schools from across the region coming together to compete.
