TWICE WEEKLY CLEANUP: LEGAZPI MAYOR ISMAIL KICKS OFF SUSTAINED 'SPAGHETTI WIRE' CLEARING CAMPAIGN‼️ 🏙
LEGAZPI CITY – Mayor Hisham B. Ismail has fulfilled his commitment to clean up the city, personally launching a major, sustained operation to clear the dangerous and messy "spaghetti wires" plaguing Legazpi's utility poles.
The initiative commenced today, Wednesday, October 22, 2025, along Rizal Street in Barangay Lapu-Lapu, and WILL SYSTEMATICAY COVER THE CITY'S MAIN THOROUGHFARES.
Mayor Ismail successfully secured a key commitment from the project partners—the LEGAZPI CITY ENGINEERING OFFICE, the Albay Electric Cooperative, Inc. (ALECO), and the VARIOUS CABLE AND TELECOMMUNICATION PROVIDERS—to ensure rapid results.

The Mayor announced a clear target for the completion of the major clearing operations: BEFORE THE CHRISTMAS SEASON. The goal is to make Legazpi a safe and happy place, free from dangling wires, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy the holiday festivities.
