Youth ACCESS Organization, in partnership with Rotary Metro Legazpi: Unite for Good, JJC Daraga, and various college-based organizations: PNSA, BUCN RCYC, BUCN PCO, BUCN The Iliad, BU NSRC, BU PMS, ANERPP Inc., and BU USC conducts a volunteer program "Kape for Tsupers" today, March 28, 2026 at Daraga-Legazpi Street, EM's Barrio, Legazpi City, Albay.

‎Kape for Tsupers is a community initiative to support jeepney drivers amid the rising prices of fuel by serving them hot coffee and siopao perfect for morning snacks giving them a boost for driving all day.
‎
‎The program started at 8:00 AM and ended at quarter to 9:00 AM, until the stocks of coffee and siopao were given out to the jeepney drivers.

The event, hosted by the organization, is attended by children, parents and student scholars, along with college media, partners, and supporters.💙

The program started at 8:00 a.m. until 11 a.m. featuring a variety of activities and performances prepared for the attendees.

As the summer season brings hotter and drier conditions, the risk of fire incidents increases.

This calls for greater awareness and stronger fire safety practices in our homes and communities.

Equip yourself with knowledge as we present the most common causes of fire in the Philippines (as of 2025) along with the Do’s and Don’ts in preventing and handling these risks.

Stay alert. Practice fire safety. Remember that awareness is prevention. 🧯

Fires can happen anytime but being prepared can save lives. Understanding fire safety and knowing how to properly use a fire extinguisher can prevent small flames from turning into devastating disasters.

Remember the PASS method: Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep.
Use the right type of extinguisher for the right kind of fire, and never hesitate to evacuate if the situation becomes dangerous.

Today, for the 40th Anniversary of EDSA, we remember how media gave voice to a nation demanding freedom and justice.

This is a reminder that truth is powerful and informations can turn voices into action. Media helped a nation see its own courage and amplified the call for accountability.

Even now, the struggle continues. Attempts to silence media still persist that freedom of information is never guaranteed. It is a continuing paradox, calling to stay vigilant, and to defend the voices that shape democracy.

We remember. We listen. We speak.
Because to ignore the truth is to repeat mistakes, and to silence media is to surrender our freedom.

The Architects of EDSA: Key Personalities Who Defined EDSA 🇵🇭

On February 25, 1986, millions of Filipinos stood united along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) to reclaim democracy in a peaceful uprising that inspired the world.

As we mark 40 years since the EDSA People Power Revolution, we look beyond the events themselves and recognize that this revolution was also shaped by people.

Understanding the roles they played shows how political leadership, military action, religious influence, and public participation came together to end a two-decade rule and restore democratic governance in the Philippines.

Today, we remember not just the history, but also our shared responsibility to protect and uphold our democracy.
