Hands trembling, heart somewhere above the clouds,
It took a while to feel the ground again.
For a moment, I forgot how to speak,
The air felt lighter, almost unreal.
I shared it with my little one,
And together we bowed our heads —
A quiet prayer, a grateful heart,
All glory to God.
There are blessings that arrive like soft thunder —
Shocking, humbling, beautiful.
It settles slowly,
Like light breaking through after a long wait.
And behind that light,
are hearts that chose to trust,
hands that opened the door,
and souls who made room for this grace.
Deeply thankful for the kindness,
the faith, and the generosity
of those who made this moment possible.
Still in awe.
Still grateful.
