With hearts full of gratitude and faith, LNHSians gathered once again for our Wednesday Mass, taking a meaningful pause from our daily routines to reflect, pray, and strengthen our relationship with God. This sacred celebration served as a reminder that amidst our academic responsibilities and personal challenges, we can always find comfort, guidance, and strength through His presence.

As one school community, students, teachers, and staff came together in worship, listening attentively to God's Word and reflecting on His teachings. The Mass encouraged us to renew our faith, practice kindness and compassion, and live out the values that make us responsible and caring individuals.

More than a weekly tradition, the Wednesday Mass is a moment of spiritual renewal that inspires us to remain steadfast in our beliefs and committed to serving others. It reminds us that true success is not measured solely by achievements but also by the strength of our character, the sincerity of our faith, and the goodness we share with those around us.

May the lessons and blessings we received today continue to guide us throughout the week, filling our hearts with hope, peace, and purpose. Together, let us carry God's love into our homes, classrooms, and communities as we strive to become better versions of ourselves every day.

LNHS Pasidungog 2026: Celebrating Excellence, Dedication, and a New Chapter of Leadership

Leyte National High School successfully conducted Pasidungog 2026 on May 6, 2026, at the Ray Millennium Gym, bringing together educators, staff, and members of the school community in a meaningful celebration of service, excellence, and leadership.

The program highlighted the Awarding Ceremony for Teachers, recognizing their outstanding performance, passion for teaching, and unwavering dedication to educating the youth. Each award served as a tribute to the teachers’ commitment, perseverance, and significant contributions to the academic growth and character development of LNHS learners. The awarding reaffirmed the school’s appreciation for educators who continue to inspire, guide, and uplift students despite the challenges of the profession.

One of the most significant moments of the event was the Turnover Ceremony of the School Principal. Dr. Nelson M. Payot formally turned over the leadership of the school to Mrs. Deisy D. Coquilla, marking the beginning of a new chapter for LNHS. The ceremony symbolized gratitude for Dr. Payot’s dedication and service, as well as confidence and hope in the vision and leadership of the incoming principal.

Pasidungog 2026 stood as a powerful reminder that the strength of LNHS lies in its people—teachers who educate with passion, leaders who serve with integrity, and a community united by a shared commitment to excellence in education. As the school moves forward, it does so with deep appreciation for the past and renewed optimism for the future.
