🎨🔥 Ipinamalas ng mga mag-aaral ng Leyte National High School ang kanilang taglay sa pagguhit upang makiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Fire Prevention month ngayong ika-7 ng Marso, 2025 🎨🔥

Ngayong Fire Prevention Month, pagtibayin natin ang pagtutulungan! Maging mapagmatyag sa mga posibleng sanhi ng sunog sa ating tahanan at komunidad. Alamin ang tamang paggamit ng mga kagamitang pangkaligtasan at maging handa sa anumang emergency. Sa pagkakaisa, maiiwasan natin ang sunog at masisigurong ligtas ang ating pamilya at bayan!

LNHS Holds Mr. and Ms. Senior High 2025

Leyte National High School(LNHS) showcased elegance and talent as five pairs of candidates competed for the title of Mr. and Ms. Senior High 2025.

Each pair represented their respective sections: Aristotle, Berkeley, Einstein, Freud, and Marx. Candidates took the stage with confidence, hoping to bring pride to their class through their performances and presence.

The competition featured three exposures: a production number, a talent segment, and a formal wear presentation. Candidates displayed their creativity and grace, making the event a remarkable celebration of beauty and excellence.

Grade 12 Students Showcase their Research Posters

Grade 12 students from Leyte National High School presented their research posters, showcasing their academic excellence and research commitment, as they were evaluated by Mr. Jerry V. Yubal, Mr. Uldarico Rondina Jr., and Mr. Jobane Delantar.

Students eagerly explained their research findings to the judges, highlighting the relevance and impact of their studies. The event drew attention from fellow students and teachers who showed interest in the diverse topics presented.

The activity served as an opportunity for students to enhance their communication skills and gain valuable feedback. It also celebrated their hard work and perseverance throughout their research journey.

Yubal, Rondina, Delantar evaluate Grade 12 students' research posters

Mr. Jerry V. Yubal, Mr. Uldarico Rondina Jr., and Mr. Jobane Delantar assessed the research posters of Grade 12 students from Leyte National High School, showcasing their academic achievements and commitment to research excellence.

The posters were evaluated based on Visual Appeal, Clarity of Message, Content/Research Quality, Organization and Structure, Use of Visuals (Graphs, Charts, Images), Text Quality, Engagement and Presentation, and Conclusion and Implication.

The judges meticulously examined each poster according to these criteria, ensuring a fair and thorough evaluation. Their keen attention to detail highlighted the students' hard work and creativity.

The event provided a platform for students to share their findings and celebrate their accomplishments, inspiring intellectual exchange among presenters and attendees alike.

Leyte, Leyte– Leyte National High School(LNHS) Senior High School students gathered at Ray Millennium Gym on February 28 for their culmination event, highlighting their academic achievements and research endeavors.

The program featured research presentations and a display of research posters, showcasing the students' hard work and dedication to academic excellence. Attendees included faculty members, students, and school administrators.

The event provided a platform for students to share their findings and contribute to the growing body of knowledge in their respective fields.

With election day fast approaching, 𝗦.𝗜.𝗞.𝗟.𝗔.𝗕. 🔥(𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜, 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝘼𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝘽𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚!) and 𝗦.𝗟.𝗔.𝗬.🌸(𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝) Party take the stage at the SSLG Grand Election Rally in RAY Millennium Gym.

Candidates will present their visions, answer questions from students and teachers, and prove their leadership in this highly anticipated face-off. More than just a debate, this is their final chance to inspire and win the trust of the LNHSian community.

LNHS Bags 2nd Runner-Up Title at ASPC

Leyte National High School (LNHS) emerged as the 2nd Runner-Up in the secondary level during the Area Schools Press Conference (ASPC) held at Tabango Leyte, December 16–17.

The delegation showcased remarkable talent and dedication, bringing pride to the institution with their stellar performances across various categories.

The team achieved notable victories, including 1st Place in Sports Writing by Ellie Mar Cabalhin (coached by Danilo Delima) and multiple 2nd Place finishes in News Writing (Aubrey Ann Estrada, coached by Nelia L. Baring), Pagsulat ng Balita (Daisa D. Gabisay, coached by Danilo Delima), Pagsulat ng Lathalain (JeanClaire N. Garcia, coached by Jennifer G. Orongan), Pagsulat ng Balitang Esports (Joy Grace Sol, coached by Malou N. Napoles), Pagkuha ng Larawang Pampahayagan (Louis Gabriel Antonio, coached by Jennky M. Bulante), and Column Writing in English (Mark Santos Salapari, coached by Creza Lee Epis).

LNHS also earned 3rd Place in Editorial Cartooning (Alchier Cañete, coached by Geraldin G. Granados) and Copy Reading & Headline Writing in both English and Filipino (Kendrick Noelle Dela Rosa and Athea Majait, coached by Perpetua Austero and Miraflor Algodon, respectively).

Other accomplishments included 4th Place in Feature Writing (Jillian E. Elorde, coached by Jennifer G. Orongan), 5th Place in Editorial Writing (Jisselle A. Amistoso, coached by Jennifer G. Orongan), and 7th Place finishes in Sci-Tech Writing (Jovey N. Villaren, coached by Malou Napoles) and Photojournalism (Christian Josh John M. Arca, coached by Jennky M. Bulante).

Dr. Nelson M. Payot, school head of LNHS, couldn’t be prouder of the achievements of the dearest journalists and coaches, commending their hard work and dedication.

The top 5 placers in each category will represent Area 3 at the upcoming Division Schools Press Conference(DSPC) in Bato, Leyte, January 7–10, 2025.

𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟐 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐒𝐒 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐜𝐤 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧

Leyte National High School (LNHS) Grade 12 HUMSS students participated in a mock job interview on December 13 at the LNHS campus as part of their preparation for work immersion and future career opportunities.

LNHS teachers assumed the roles of professionals from various fields to simulate real-world interviews. Cristine Mae Pedrano acted as a representative from the Engineering Office, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and the Local Civil Registry (LCR). Michelle Amistoso portrayed representatives from the Rural Health Unit (RHU), Accounting Office, and Agriculture Office. Kent Rojas acted on behalf of the Tourism Office, while Nordandy Epis represented the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO). Jonathan Rondina and Niña Negad conducted interviews as representatives of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Office.

The activity was coordinated by Work Immersion Facilitators Ms. Levi Glare Ngoho and Mrs. Lynette D. Bachinela, who were instrumental in organizing and guiding the event.

This initiative challenged the students' skills in professional communication, critical thinking, and adaptability, while also helping them align their capabilities with their desired careers.

It underscores LNHS’s commitment to equipping students with real-world experiences essential for future success.

𝐋𝐄𝐘𝐓𝐄 𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐀𝐋 𝐌𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒!

𝙇𝙚𝙮𝙩𝙚, 𝙇𝙚𝙮𝙩𝙚 (𝙉𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 8, 2024) — At the Leyte Central School grounds, Leyte National High School enthusiastically participated in the Parade and Opening Program for its much-anticipated 𝑳𝒆𝒚𝒕𝒆 𝑴𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 2024.

LNHS is honored to compete alongside esteemed participants from 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 𝟭 (𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 - 𝗟𝗖𝗦), 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 𝟮, 𝗟𝗲𝘆𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗼-𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗦), 𝗝𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗩. 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗝𝗩𝗗𝗡𝗛𝗦), 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗕𝗜𝗦).

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the coaches for their dedication and hard work in preparing our athletes.
We would also like to thank our dedicated teachers who generously provided snacks for our athletes, ensuring they were energized and supported throughout the event.
Special recognition goes to Dr. Nelson M. Payot, Principal II, for his unwavering support and commitment to the success of our LNHS teams.
