LOOK | Graduation Ceremony 2026

GCCNHS proudly celebrated the Class of 2026, marking a milestone of pride, gratitude, and achievement.

The program opened with the 9th SHS Commencement Exercises, the Entrance of Colors by the GCCNHS Cadet Corps, and a solemn prayer by Ms. Jenica Lyn S. Zozobrado (With High Honors, HUMSS), followed by the Philippine National Anthem, DepEd Leyte Hymn, and Tunga Hymn conducted by Ms. Rosemarie Go.

Ms. Princess S. Deligencia (With High Honors, STEM) delivered the Welcome Address, while Ms. Evangeline C. Mercado, School Principal IV, presented the candidates. Dr. Mariza S. Magan, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent, and Mr. Ambrosio A. Coquia Jr., District In-Charge, officially confirmed the graduates. Diplomas were awarded by Hon. Engr. Reinbert C. Costelo, Municipal Mayor, and Hon. Cielito O. Esquibel, Sangguniang Bayan Member. Atty. Jessica Pulga-Sudario inspired the audience as guest speaker, later receiving a Certificate of Appreciation from Ms. Mercado, introduced by Ms. Charmaine V. Quintana.

Heartfelt moments continued with Words of Gratitude from Mr. Richard A. De Los Santos (With High Honors, ABM), the Pledge of Loyalty led by Mr. John Chrissaldy Sari (With Honors, EIM), and the GCCNHS Alumni Association Oath by Mr. Reyan L. Arinto, GCCNHSAA President. Mayor Costelo shared a congratulatory message, and the ceremony closed with “We Made It Through,” the GCCNHS Hymn, and a closing message from Ms. Evangeline Mercado.

Soar High | Let your Kite Conquer the Skies

‎This day, March 31, 2026 marks the culmination of all the challenges and hardships that the Grade 10 students of Gregorio C. Catenza National High School has faced all throughout this school year, as they commenced their Moving Up Ceremony for school year 2025-2026.
‎
‎The ceremony opened with the processional march of students together with their parents, followed by the Entrance of Colors ,singing of the national anthem and a prayer led by Denise C. Vallente (WITH HIGH HONORS).
‎
‎Shean T. Quebec ( WITH HIGH HONORS) delivered the Welcome Adress while Ms. Evangeline C. Mercado, School Principal IV presented the candidates to Dr. Mariza S. Magan, CESCO V, School Division Superintendent through the Disrict Supervisor, Mr. Ambrosio A. Coquia Jr. officially confirming the completers, followed by the awarding of certificates.

‎Guest speaker, Efren A. Buranday Jr., RSW National Housing Authority Regional Office VIII Palo, Leyte, shared his insights and experiences, as his message highlights that you don't have to be the best in everything, you just need to try and to just keep going no matter what.

Kaye C. Panal (WITH HIGH HONORS) also with her story to tell, expressed her words of gratitude, sharing her journey all throughout junior high school. Completers then recited their pledge of loyalty, led by Carmil G. Tizon ( WITH HIGH HONORS). immediately followed by the singing of their moving up song "Saranggola" and finally with Sir Noel D. Parena's Closing Remarks to formaly close the ceremony

‎The ceremony is not just simply an awarding of certificates but rather an event of acknowledgement of all their struggles, as well as appreciation and gratitude for those who helped them along their journey.
‎
‎As they embark on the next chapter of their senior high school journey, we applaud their accomplishments and wish them continued success! Cheers and for the GCCNHS Grade 10 completers!

Gregorio C. Catenza National High School (GCCNHS) concludes another year of learning with acknowledgement and appreciation as senior high school learners receive their respective awards in recognition of the efforts and hard work they have exerted during the school year 2025-2026 on this 27th day of March, 2026, at the GCCNHS Multi-purpose Hall.

Truly, their commendable success would not have been possible without the guidance and help from our parents, teachers, school administrators, and other stakeholders. Congratulations to everyone!

‎An evening where elegance and celebration filled the atmosphere as the Grade 12 students of Gregorio C. Catenza National High School celebrated their Senior High School
‎Summit and Work Immersion Gala Night at Tunga Central School's Social Hall this March 06, 2026. 🥂🎉

‎ A grand processional lit up the night as students displayed their elegant attires shining through the red carpet, followed by a lively intermission number from the Senior High Faculty and Staff.
‎
The event then proceeded to the cotillion dance as students took the floor and moved with grace and sophistication, nailing every move and step with outmost splendor. ✨ 🙌🏼
