The fuel depots at Kuwait International Airport have been targeted by drone attacks, Kuwait Army said in a statement early Sunday, describing the incident as a direct attack on Kuwait’s vital infrastructure.

Kuwait Air Defenses intercepted hostile missiles and drones detected in the country’s airspace, the Ministry of Defense said.

Ayon sa ulat ng Al Jazeera, sinabi ng United States Central Command (CENTCOM) na halos 2,000 target sa Iran ang tinamaan ng puwersa ng US mula noong Sabado.

Samantala, sinabi ng Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) ng Iran na naglunsad sila ng pag-atake sa hindi bababa sa 27 base militar sa Middle East kung saan naka-deploy ang mga sundalong US.

Nagkaroon din ng mga pag-atake sa ilang bansa sa rehiyon tulad ng Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, at United Arab Emirates, at may ulat din na isang Iranian drone ang tumama sa base militar ng UK sa Cyprus.
