We are happy to announce that our Local Government Unit has received a prestigious award, showcasing the hard work and dedication of all municipal officials and employees in Libona headed by Mayor Aurelio B. Lopez, Vice Mayor Leonardo Genesis T. Calingasan, the members of the Sangguniang Bayan.

A special acknowledgment goes to the Local Council for the Protection of Women and Children, whose dedicated efforts have been vital in creating a safer and more supportive environment for our community.

The award was proudly accepted on behalf of the municipal government by Mayor Aurelio B. Lopez, MLGOO VI Cherrylou B. Lafuente, and MSWDO, OIC , Miss Ellen S. Olegario, who led and facilitated our initiatives with excellence.

We are happy to celebrate the recognition awarded to Ms. Juvilyn A. Lopez with a Plaque of Recognition by the Bureau of Local Government Finance for her exceptional contributions to our community!

Ms. Lopez and her dedicated team achieved the HIGHEST GROWTH RATE IN REAL PROPERTY TAX (RPT) COLLECTION in Region 10, ranking TOP 1 with an outstanding rate of 172% for FY 2022-2023. Furthermore, under her leadership, our municipality attained a remarkable 100% RPT Collection efficiency for the FY 2023 target.

Her unwavering dedication, strategic vision, and relentless pursuit of excellence in the Assessment Service have set an unparalleled standard for revenue generation. The successful collaboration with the Office of the Municipal Treasurer has played a vital role in enhancing our LGU’s financial stability and growth.

This distinguished award was presented on the 21st of November 2024 at the 4th Quarter Joint BLGF X and REGATA 10, Inc. Conference.

Under his leadership, our municipality not only achieved the HIGHEST GROWTH RATE IN REAL PROPERTY TAX (RPT) COLLECTIONS in Region 10, with an impressive growth rate of 172% for FY 2022-2023, but also proudly earned the title of Top 1 LGU among 98 LGUs in Region 10. Additionally, he successfully attained a 100% RPT Collection efficiency for the FY 2023 target.

Mr. Obsioma’s dedication, strategic approach, and relentless efforts together with the MTO Team, have set a standard for excellence and significantly contributed to the financial stability and growth of our Local Government Unit (LGU). His remarkable collaboration with the Office of the Municipal Assessor has greatly enhanced our community's progress.

Under the banner of the 2024 anti-drug campaign theme: "Prioritizing Health-Based Approaches in Drug Abuse Prevention and Control,"we are committed to dedicating this week to raising awareness, promoting resilience, and working towards a drug-free future.

Throughout this week-long celebration, we will engage our community with educational programs, workshops, and activities designed to empower our youth and strengthen community bonds. Together, let’s invest in prevention as a sustainable solution to safeguard our future generations, enhance community well-being, and foster a safer, healthier, and more resilient Libona.
