🎄Christmas Door Decoration 🚪💛
Our Character of the Month for December is COMPASSION, a perfect reminder of the true meaning of Christmas—love, kindness, and giving. This week, we talked about what compassion looks like in real life, and my students got to help decorate our Christmas door, which also reflects compassion.

They practiced compassion in action by sharing materials, helping one another, and giving each other sweet Christmas cards. Kindness was everywhere—in the simplest, sweetest ways. ❤️

NOVEMBER’S CHARACTER FOCUS: CURIOSITY 🔎
Something I love about our Lifeplus schools is that we value character more than grades. Each month, we honor a student who shows the character we’re learning.

It warms my heart that Alex has received the Curiosity Award in Foundations, Junior Kindergarten, and now First Grade. Three different teachers, three different years, and the same character noticed.
(Last year lang wala… kasi alam niyo na kung sino ang teacher niya 😅

Even back in Foundations, when I was also his teacher, my TA was the one who chose him.

And here’s what I want to encourage fellow parents with:
Alex has dyslexia, a learning difference that makes some things harder—but it also reminds us that every child learns differently and shines differently. A challenge in one area doesn’t erase their strengths in others.

Our kids don’t need to be good at everything.
They just need the space to grow into who they are.

Every child has a gift.
They just unwrap it in their own time. 🎁
