TOURISM MONTH 2026 | LINAPACAN

The Municipality of Linapacan proudly joins the celebration of Tourism Month 2026, a month-long celebration of our natural wonders, culture, creativity, and the people who make Linapacan a destination worth discovering.

This year’s theme: “Digital Agenda and Artificial Intelligence to Redesign Tourism” — highlighting the power of innovation and technology in creating meaningful experiences and shaping a smarter, more sustainable future for tourism.

As we officially open Tourism Month 2026, the Linapacan Tourism Office has prepared exciting activities that will bring our communities, students, creatives, and tourism advocates together:

1. Barangay Tourism Challenge
Celebrating the unique tourism assets, culture, and potential of every barangay.

2. Photography Contest
Capturing the beauty, stories, and unforgettable moments of Linapacan through the lens.

3. 60-Seconds Tourism Video Challenge
Telling the story of Linapacan in just 60 seconds through creativity and digital storytelling.

4. Tourism Quiz Bee
A friendly competition for Elementary, High School, and College students to showcase their knowledge about tourism, culture, heritage, and Linapacan.

Let us make this Tourism Month a celebration of innovation, creativity, community, and pride in our home. Together, let us embrace new ideas, enhance visitor experiences, and build a more sustainable and future-ready tourism industry for Linapacan.

TRAINING COMPLETED | SHIP HANDLING AND SAFE NAVIGATION 1

The Local Government Unit of Linapacan, in partnership with the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), successfully conducted the first batch of the “Ship Handling and Safe Navigation 1” Training on August 31 to September 1, 2026.

The two-day training provided participants with valuable knowledge and practical skills on proper ship handling, safe navigation, and maritime safety-strengthening their competence and preparedness while at sea.

Congratulations to all the participants of Batch 1 for completing the training!

Together, let us continue to promote safer seas, responsible navigation, and a stronger maritime community in Linapacan.
