There are days I catch myself delaying things I already know I should’ve done. Not because I don’t care, but because I get overwhelmed, distracted, or just… human.
Then I hear something like, “baka hindi na para kay Lord yan,” and I just pause. Ha… ganon ba yun? 😅
But the truth is, I don’t think following God always looks like perfect discipline or perfect consistency. There are days we show up strong, and there are days we’re still learning how to show up at all.
And maybe that’s the part we forget—God is not measuring us only by our productivity. He sees the heart behind it. The intention. The effort. Even the struggle we don’t always know how to fix yet.
I’m learning that honoring God doesn’t always look loud or perfect. Sometimes it looks like trying again. Sometimes it looks like repenting mid-process. Sometimes it looks like asking for grace in areas we’re still growing in.
And God is still good in all of it.
If anything, it humbles me to remember that I don’t have to perform my way into His love. I just need to keep coming back, even on the messy days.
Lord, thank You that You don’t give up on us even when we’re still learning how to do things right. Teach us grace—for ourselves and for others too.
Amen 💛
