On the way to the hospital and Next in Line by After Image played in the car. I remember this song being popular when I was in Grade 5. Now in my 40s, the lyrics hit differently. Not political at all, just that simple realization that our age bracket really is ‘next in line.’ Life has a way of making songs grow up with us. 💕
