Fairways, Friendships & Friendly Fire: The 3rd JBL Golf Cup

If there’s one thing better than a perfectly struck drive, it’s a perfectly organized golf day—and the 3rd JBL Golf Cup delivered both.

On February 13, 2026, the fairways of The Orchard weren’t just manicured—they were magnificent. Golfers arrived armed with clubs, confidence, and just the right amount of overconfidence. And leading the charge was none other than Larry Secreto, whose steady leadership and eye for detail ensured the only hazards players had to worry about were the ones on the course.

From the ceremonial tee-off to the final putt, the day was a masterclass in what happens when competition meets camaraderie. There were booming drives that drew applause, putts that defied physics, and a few bunker visits that looked more like extended vacations. Scorecards were carefully guarded, but laughter? That was generously shared.

The beauty of the JBL Golf Cup has always been its balance. Yes, there were trophies to win and bragging rights to earn—but there were also jokes exchanged mid-swing, playful ribbing over missed putts, and stories that grew slightly more dramatic with each retelling at the clubhouse.

Game On: Where Legends and Dreamers Tee Off Together!

The historic fairways of the Intramuros Golf Club came alive last September 28, 2025, as the Pilipinas Senior Pro Golf Tour Organization (PSPGTO) successfully staged its inaugural PSPGTO PRO-AM Tournament.

The groundbreaking event paired seasoned senior professional golfers with spirited amateurs in a format designed to foster camaraderie, showcase talent, and bring fresh energy to the local golf scene. Tee-off began at 7:00 AM under clear skies, with participants and spectators alike enjoying a day of competition, sportsmanship, and celebration.

“This tournament was more than just golf—it was about building bridges between generations of players and creating a community around the sport we love,” said the organizers of PSPGTO. “The energy, laughter, and stories shared on the course reminded us that golf is as much about people as it is about performance.”

The event attracted not only golf enthusiasts but also members of the media and local supporters. Media partners enjoyed exclusive perks, including complimentary entry tickets, brand visibility on event backdrops, and formal recognition during the awarding ceremony.
