Back then, life was simple. We were just a group of church youths, always looking for the next ālaagā after every gathering. Our biggest problem was figuring out how to fit everyone on our motorcycle every ālaagā. We always find comfort in our little hideoutā Dwayneās place āwhere random sleepovers turned into deep talks and endless laughter. On some days, we chased sunsets at the mountain or took spontaneous trips to the beach, enjoying the simple joys of being together. Time felt endless, and our only real worry was making the most of it. Through it all, God was with us, filling our days with joy, providing for our needs, and keeping us safe even in the smallest ways.
But life moved forward, and so did we. By Godās grace, we no longer struggle to find a rideānow, we have cars to ride with. The problem isnāt about space anymore, but about time. Some are busy with work, others with school, and some are simply caught up in lifeās responsibilities. Yet, even in the busyness, God remains faithful, guiding us through every new chapter, just as He did when we were carefree teenagers figuring out how to get home.
Itās funny how we once worried about squeezing into a motor, and now we wonder when weāll all be in the same car again, heading to another random adventure.
Even though our schedules donāt always align, our bond hasnāt changed. We may not meet as often, but the love and friendship remain because it was built on something deeper than timeāit was built on Godās grace. Growing up didnāt mean losing each other; it just meant learning to cherish the moments we do get. Life didnāt stop when we all took different paths. But no matter where we go, we will always be connected, because God, who brought us together back then, is the same God who continues to keep us now.š
i love you guys with the love of the Lord š«š
