We love others best when we love God the most.

"It is never too late to be what you might have been." Who would have thought that Ae-sun could be a known poet and publish her own poems in her 70s?

Dreams don’t stop when you are already married. They don’t fade when your knees start to ache. They don’t disappear just because you’re no longer in your 20s. Life doesn’t pause after a certain age... and so why should your dreams?

There are people who started businesses in their 40s, went back to school in their 50s, learned new hobbies in their 60s, and found love or purpose when they least expected it. Age is not a roadblock after all.

If there’s still a dream that makes your soul come alive, chase it. Go after it boldly. Allow God to rewrite your story.

The best chapters of your life might still be unwritten.

And you are right on time. ✨

Growing old doesn’t seem so scary with the right person by your side.

Aesun and Gwansik went through a lot.
They were broke for most of their life.
They lost a child.
Their son went to jail.
Their daughter had to study and work far away.

Life was never easy for them. But they stayed.
They never gave up on each other.

Gwansik never got tired of hearing Aesun talk. He listened to her stories like it was the first time.
When she was happy, he was happy too.

He didn’t say much.
But his love was clear.
It didn’t need big words.
It stayed. It showed up.
It chose her every day.

Pray for a love like theirs. One that stays even when life gets hard. One that lasts a lifetime.

It’s hard to be with someone like Gwansik, who is uncertain about the future he can give you. But it’s also hard to live with someone you don’t see forever with.

It’s hard to live a life where you’re just trying to make ends meet. But it’s also hard to live a life built on material things.

It’s hard to watch someone you love exhaust himself with excessive work just to provide everything your family needs.

But it’s just as painful to be with someone who can give you everything, yet it feels empty because your heart belongs to someone else.

Whatever path we take, life is hard anyway. Be with someone you’d be happy to see each morning, so when life gives you tangerines, you wouldn't be afraid to face the bitter, sweet, and sour mix life has to offer.

Squeez the juice out and drink, set aside the peels you could use to make orange marmalade or candied orange peel, you can grill some over an open flame when you’re feeling unwell—letting the warmth of the citrus ease the ache, while their sweetness lingers, a quiet reminder that even hardships can turn into comfort with the right person beside you, in whatever season you may be.

You may also take the seeds, plant it again so you’ll have fruitful days ahead. Exactly what Aesun and Gwansik did.

This is not just a love story, it is a story about time. About how life moves forward no matter how much you wish it would stay still. About the people who leave and the ones who stay.

Ae-sun loses her mother at ten. The world does not wait for her to grieve. But beside her, always, is Gwan-sik. he does not try to fix her pain, does not promise her the world. He just stays. And maybe that is what real love looks like—not fireworks, not fairytales, just someone who chooses you every day.

But beyond love, this drama makes you reflect. In the 1970s, life was hard. Money was scarce. Dreams felt impossible. Yet, they found happiness in simplicity. They did not chase more, they made the most of what they had.

𝑰𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓: 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔? 𝑨𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒆 𝒔𝒐 𝒇𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒆𝒙𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒘?

Because maybe happiness is not about having more, but about seeing what is already there.
