Goat Production//The Livestock Sector of the Municipal Agriculture Office worked on the availment of 4M Goat Module Production Project under Livestock Economic Enterprise Development (LEED) Program of the Department of Agriculture. On July 9, 2025, forage chopper was initially delivered and received by the Municipal Agriculture Office.

All endeavors are under the leadership of Mayor Doandre Bill A. Ladaga, to pave the way to breeding and dispersal of goats. The LGU demofarm expands its activities to forage and pastures as preparation of the project in which through collaboration, cooperation and partnership; the Loreto is envisioned to cater the need of goat quality breeds and availability of goat meat. Cassava Production// Vicky Delaganar and Tolentino Mangubat cassava growers in the Municipality harvested a total of 3,208 cassava tubers. The harvested cassava tubers were sold and picked-up by the A&M Cooperative. Mr. Tolentino and Ms. Vicky is a recipient of cassava inputs from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist. The Municipal Agriculture Office continues to identify potential farmers to engage in cassava production and to assist them in different interventions from the LGU and partner agencies. Daghan Salamat OPAG headed by Sir. Rico Galinato, ever supportive Provincial Agriculturist through Ms. Mirasol Edera-Pilapil, very energetic and one chat away provincial cassava coordinator. June 25, 2025// The Provincial Veterinary Office conducted NCD and fowl pox vaccination to the privilege beneficiaries of the 2,000,000 worth Ready to Lay Chicken project under the Livestock Economic Enterprise Development (LEED) Program of the Department of Agriculture (DA). Doctor Neil P. Rosillo led the activity and he was also assisted by Mr. Nicolas B. Cuadra and Alan S. Patayon, Municipal Agriculture's livestock technicians.

Further, they also conducted monitoring to ensure success of the program to meet the egg production requirement in our Municipality, as well as to augment farmer's income.

Ang Kahugpungan Alang sa Kalambuang Agraryo (AKAKA) wherein located at barangay Sta. Cruz and Panamaon Consumers Cooperative (Paconco) are the two registered cooperatives which received the generous livelihood grant. These two coops received a module with 1200 RTL chickens, feeds, drugs, biologics, and housing, valued at Php 2,000,000.00 from the DA. The project will provide ample opportunity for the cooperatives to grow socially and economically. Moreover this intensified program of the government will boost egg production in our Municipality.

On the other hand, they also administered vaccination on the Santiago Women's 300 hds RTL chicken under Babayeng May Itlog Program of the Provincial Veterinary Office. Tomorrow the team will continue the activity to the other RTL beneficiaries in our Municipality. Dalaygon and Ginoo!

The flowering of Thai Mango. The LGU-demo farm has an orchard planted with various fruit trees. Mayor Doandre Bill's vision for agricultural development in the Municipality, includes the collection of different planting materials for production and propagation. Currently, the Municipality has high quality varieties of asexually propagated fruit trees such as namhom coconut or known as the aromatic Tai coconut, J33 or known as sultan jackfruit, black torn and mustang king durian, Magallanes seedling pomelo, eviarc jackfruit, avocado hass and this Thai mango which bears flowers. All of these fruit trees except the eviarc were purchased last Dec 5, 2024 during our visit at Triple P. Farm in North Cotabato and were transplanted just last January 13, 2025.

The flowering of this Thai mango is proof that aside from genetic purity, the fast maturity is just one of the many benefits of asexually propagated plants that eventually gives earlier production at a higher plant density.

Flexing the rotary composter and shredder machine of the Loreto High Value Crops Farmers Association from the Bureau of Soils and Water Management. And the completion of the composting facility building last Febuary 2025. The building was built through the endeavor of the group led by chairperson Gemma B. Solonia, and through the support of Hon. Doandre Bill A. Ladaga, Municipal Mayor. The LGU provided building materials worth 50,000.00 pesos. The Municipal Agriculture Office is also working on our partnership with BSWM for another training on soil ameliorants and amendments. If then, our municipality will have easy access to farm inputs which help to improve soil physical and chemical properties such as structure, aeration and water retention capacity. It is essential to help improve the fertility of the soil.
