Blink Creative Studio Joins DOLE RTWPB IVA’s Productivity Toolbox Training

Blink Creative Studio was proud to take part in the recent Productivity Toolbox Training organized by DOLE RTWPB IVA, held last August 1 at Hotel Marciano, Calamba City. The event brought together stakeholders from government, business, and industry to promote better workplace practices and sustainable productivity, especially for MSMEs.

As a finalist in the 2025 Productivity Olympics, Blink continues to support initiatives that empower Filipino enterprises through collaboration, innovation, and people-centered growth.

As we count down to World Photography Day on August 19, we’re spotlighting Blink’s photographers — professionals and hobbyists alike — who see the world a little differently through their lens.

Writer, artist, and filmmaker Randy Q. Villanueva explores photography as a visceral, emotional extension of his creative practice. He straddles the line between expressionism and surrealism with his photos’ blurry, raw, and psychologically charged images. Faces dissolve into shadow, bodies blur mid-motion, and familiar objects take on uncanny forms through distortion and juxtaposition. These aren’t straightforward depictions of the world, but attempts to reveal what simmers beneath: grief, dread, memory, or dream. Inspired by expressionist cinema and subconscious-driven collage, Villanueva’s work rejects clarity in favor of mood and atmosphere. The result is dark, hallucinatory, and sometimes confrontational. This is photography not as record but as provocation.

I love pushing visual boundaries through extreme angles and dramatic lighting setups, creating high-impact imagery that feels larger than life. I’m driven by the urge to capture moments that will never happen again. Whether it’s a fleeting expression, a perfect slant of light, or the raw energy of a pose, I’m obsessed with freezing the unrepeatable. My work is inspired by the beauty of impermanence, those split seconds where everything aligns, and then vanishes. Photography, for me, is a way to preserve the ephemeral and turn it into something timeless.”

With a keen eye for light, atmosphere, and fleeting moments, Kyle’s photography bridges everyday life and quiet wonder. Describing his style as “street, minimalist, cinematic,” he captures the beauty in things most of us walk past — neon-lit intersections, deserted fairgrounds, palm-framed seascapes, and rainy backstreets.

His work is fueled by experiences and stories, often chasing the light in moments that feel both nostalgic and alive. For Kyle, photography is simply about preserving the good and happy — in his life or someone else’s.
