CNJL The Pomelon Reaping light by Sowing truth

17/04/2026

The Pomelon, the official student publication of Casa del Niño Jesus de Lucban, Inc. High School Department, is profoundly grateful to every Casanian who has witnessed our countless endeavors throughout the past year. Amid documents and deadlines, late nights and dimming lights, we persevered.

May our spark never dim as a new school year approaches. A toast to new opportunities and the continuation of our legacy.

The Pomelon carries the essence of its mission through the strength of the youth—reaping light by sowing truth for the institution and its stakeholders.

Light your words ablaze, and always give chase to the truth.

News | CNJL Join Hands with Townsfolk in remembrance of Viernes de Dolores

Casa del Niño Jesus de Lucban, Inc. (CNJL) participated in the Holy Mass and procession, honoring Our Lady of Doloures at Saint Louis Bishop Parish (SLBP) Church, March 27.

To initiate the solemn memorial, Rev. Msgr. Melecio “Boy” Verastigue along with Rev. Fr. Reymart Karl Estrada presided a Holy Mass, uniting the faithful through the preached homily.

Following the mass, the townsfolk—including CNJL students, faculty, employees, and parishioners, joined the pious procession, treading the streets of the town in unison and in faith.

The procession led to seven stations that reenact the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with the people stopping at each one to display their devotion through prayer.

These activities enabled devotees to reflect from the sorrow and sacrifice Mary had gone through, eventually replaced with ecstasy and grace.

Forty years ago, along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, the Filipino people stood united in courage and conviction during the People Power Revolution—a historic moment that restored democracy and showed the world the strength of peaceful unity.

As we commemorate its 40th Anniversary, we honor the bravery of those who chose truth over fear, justice over oppression, and solidarity over division. Their actions remind us that freedom is not merely inherited—it is protected through vigilance, responsibility, and love of country.

May this anniversary renew our commitment to uphold democratic values, safeguard our rights, and work together for a just, compassionate, and united Philippines.
