"Happy Birthday, Pastor Russel!

Gusto ko lang pong sabihin na kapag sumagi ka sa isip ko, hindi ko mapigilang magpasalamat sa Panginoon. Just like what is written in Philippians 1:3:

'I thank my God every time I remember you.'

More than being a leader, you have been a true brother to me. Salamat sa iyong patience, sa iyong pag-gabay, at sa puso mong laging handang tumulong nang walang pag-aalinlangan. Napakalaking pasasalamat ko kay Lord dahil ikaw ang inilagay Niya na mag-shepherd sa amin.

I pray that on your birthday, maramdaman mo rin ang pagmamahal at appreciation na ibinibigay mo sa iba. May God pour out more wisdom, joy, and peace sa buhay mo at sa pamilya mo. You are a gift to this church and a blessing to my life.

Peace That Brings New
Ang kapayapaang mula sa Diyos ay hindi lamang nagpapakalma sa atin; ito ay nagbabago sa ating pananaw, pag-iisip, at pagkilos. Upang maranasan ang panibagong buhay na ito, may tatlong hakbang na itinuturo ang talata:

Bagong Paraan ng Pagharap sa Problema (v. 6-7): Imbes na mabalisa, palitan ang pag-aalala ng pananalangin na may pasasalamat. Dito nagsisimula ang "Bago"—ang iyong gulo ay napapalitan ng kapayapaang hindi kayang ipaliwanag ng mundo. Ito ang nagsisilbing guwardiya ng iyong puso.

Bagong Paraan ng Pag-iisip (v. 8): Ang "New Peace" ay nangangailangan ng disiplina sa isip. Piliing isipin ang mga bagay na totoo, marangal, malinis, at kapuri-puri. Ang bagong buhay ay nagmumula sa bagong mindset.

Bagong Paraan ng Pamumuhay (v. 9): Ang kapayapaan ay nagiging permanente kapag ang natutunan ay isinasabuhay. Sa ating pagsunod, ang Diyos mismo—ang Source of Peace—ang mananatili sa atin, na nagbibigay ng lakas para sa bawat panibagong araw.

Joy is a Gift, Not a Goal Most of the time, we treat joy like a destination we have to reach by working hard or having a good day. But in this prayer, Jesus treats joy as a gift He is actively leaving behind for us. Today, remember that your joy doesn't have to depend on how your day is going. You are living in the middle of an answered prayer. Jesus prayed for you to be full of His light, and that "full measure" is available to you right now, regardless of your circumstances.

Happy 18th Birthday! Today we don't just celebrate you becoming an adult; we celebrate the incredible light you bring into this world.

Watching you grow has been a privilege. Your hard work and dedication to everything you touch, whether it’s your studies, your talents, or your personal goals, is truly inspiring. But more importantly, seeing the way you use those talents as a servant of God shows the true beauty of your heart. You carry yourself with a grace that comes from knowing who you are in Him.

As you step into this new chapter, continue to dream big and work hard, knowing that your steps are guided. Never lose that spark of service, for it is through your kindness and faith that you make the biggest impact on those around you.

As you navigate the exciting path of adulthood, may this promise from Scripture be your anchor:

"Many survivors have done noble things, but you surpass them all. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." — Proverbs 31:29-30

Are you meditating on the promise, or the problem? 📖🕊️

In Joshua 1:8, God gives us a command that sounds simple but changes everything: “Meditate on this Book of the Law day and night.”

When we hear the word "meditate," we often think of quiet silence. But in the original Hebrew, the word is Hagah—it means to mutter, to chew on, or to whisper to oneself. It’s the image of a soul that refuses to let go of a promise until it takes root in the heart.

Joshua was facing a new territory, a new season, and giant obstacles. God knew that Joshua’s success wouldn't depend on his military strength, but on the rhythm of his mind. If we spend our days "muttering" about our worries, we become anxious. But if we spend our days muttering the Word of God, we become prosperous in spirit. True success isn't about getting everything we want; it’s about becoming who God called us to be, regardless of the giants in our path.

Join us this Sunday as we learn how to silence the noise of the world and tune our hearts to the voice of God. Whether you’re in a season of transition or just need a fresh word, there is a seat at the table for you.

Happy New Year! As we step into 2026, it feels like the perfect moment to pause and reflect on the "newness" that God offers us.

The passage in Ephesians 4:17-24 isn’t just about making a resolution; it’s about a total internal revolution. It’s the difference between painting a rusted car and actually replacing the engine.

Leaving the Old Behind
Paul starts by urging us not to live as those who are "darkened in their understanding." In the context of a New Year, this means letting go of the habits, grudges, and mindsets from 2025 that no longer serve our growth.
