β¨π·β© β¨RFJTEX 2026: READY, INTEGRATED, AND PREPARED TO SERVE π΅π
The Southern Luzon Command conducts the 3rd iteration of the Reserve Force Joint Training Exercise (RFJTEX) 2026 from 14β16 August 2026 at Camp Guillermo Nakar, Lucena City, involving CALABARZON-based Ready Reserve Units (RRUs), Affiliated Reserve Units (ARUs), and Regular Forces.
Anchored on External Security Operations with Integrated Medical Response, the exercise aims to strengthen the readiness, interoperability, and seamless integration of the AFP Reserve Force with the Regular Force under the AFP Total Force Concept.
The exercise is conducted in four phases, with Phase I and Phase II already successfully completed:
πΉ PHASE I β CALL-UP/ASSEMBLY | COMPLETED β
Participants were called up and assembled, followed by the Opening Ceremony, exercise briefing and orientation, mobilization simulation, and lectures on AFP Core Values, External Security Operations, and disaster response planning.
πΉ PHASE II β INTEGRATION | COMPLETED β
Reservist Units were integrated with Regular Forces through Staff Exercise (STAFFEX), Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE), and joint/combined operations drills, including surface operations, aerodrome operations, and emergency medical response and evacuation.
πΉ PHASE III β EXECUTION/DEPLOYMENT | NEXT PHASE
The exercise proceeds to the Field Training Exercise (FTX) focusing on External Security Operations with Integrated Medical Response, testing the participantsβ ability to operate effectively in complex operational environments while managing competing priorities and maintaining operational tempo.
πΉ PHASE IV β DEMOBILIZATION | TO FOLLOW
The final phase will involve the reorganization and consolidation of participants, After Exercise Review, simulation of Reservist Unitsβ demobilization with Reservist Administrators, and the Closing Ceremony.
With the successful completion of the first two phases, RFJTEX 2026 moves forward to the ex*****on and demobilization phasesβfurther strengthening the capability of the Regular and Reserve Forces to operate as one integrated, responsive, and ready force during conflict, crises, and national emergencies.
