was conceptualized to address the educational needs of indigent children whose families cannot afford to send them to school. Through BLESS, poor kids who could never afford even a public school education now have access to a world class, highly successful, and a proven Reading program that has taught thousands of children throughout the Philippines how to read in 18-20 weeks. The program will run

through the MLILC Hope Project, sponsored by Global Mission Fellowship partnering with (BLESS) Basic Life Empowerment and Support Services, Inc., (www.blessachild.net). This program is designed to teach indigent children ages 5-8 how to read along with basic math skills. This is provided through reading exercises in Science and Social Studies PACE modules. More importantly, these children will learn Christian character principles through Bible stories which are built into the program.
