Let's RePSYcle! ♻️

Grounded with the principles of psychology, particularly in the areas of behavior modification, environmental psychology, and community-based interventions, the CAS Psychological Society donated and installed trash bins in the key areas of Barangay Ilayang Dupay, Lucena City, last May 20, 2025 in partnership with the Sangguniang Kabataan of the Barangay.💚

Through consistent visibility and accessibility of waste disposal units, this community extension service and project intends to shape positive behaviors by applying reinforcement techniques that help build lasting habits.🤍♻️

🫧"Psych Out the Germs: Hygiene Tips for a Healthier Mind and Body" 🫧

Bringing smiles and cleanliness— The CAS Psychological Society conducted a Community Extension Service that explores the psychological benefits of proper hygiene and its impact on mental well-being. With the knowledge and tools to cultivate healthier habits that contribute not only to physical health but also to psychological well-being, the CPS officers and committees led a seminar on effective handwashing and brushing techniques together with the children of Purok Camia, Barangay Silangang Mayao, Lucena City, last May 20, 2025.

The program aims to highlight how small daily habits can significantly boost self-esteem, confidence, and overall mental health.🧼🧠
