Habang abala ang ating mga politiko, kongresista, at senador sa impeachment proceedings laban sa ating Pangalawang Pangulo na nakabatay sa mga alegasyon tungkol sa ₱120 milyong confidential funds at umano'y pagbabanta laban sa Pangulo patuloy namang lumalala ang mga problemang direktang nararanasan ng mga ordinaryong Pilipino.

Patuloy ang pagtaas ng presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin, marami pa ring lugar ang nakakaranas ng hindi maayos na serbisyo ng tubig, mataas pa rin ang singil sa kuryente, at patuloy ang mga naiuulat na krimen sa iba't ibang bahagi ng bansa. Dapat ding maging prayoridad ng ating mga lider ang mga isyung ito.

Lately, my heart has been feeling heavier than usual. There’s this quiet uncertainty that follows me every day, like I’m constantly trying to make sense of things I can’t control. The world feels louder now, filled with conflicts, rising prices, and worries that seem to stretch further than before. Even here at home, you can feel how much things have changed.

And yet, in the middle of all that noise, I find small moments of comfort. Scrolling through my page, I come across videos of kindness, people helping strangers, giving what they can, choosing compassion despite everything. It reminds me that even when the world feels overwhelming, there’s still goodness quietly existing.

Sometimes, I catch myself longing for the past, for the days when life felt simpler, when being carefree came naturally. When happiness didn’t need to be searched for, because it was just there in the little things.

Still, I hold on to gratitude. No matter how uncertain things feel, I’m thankful for the gift of life, for the chance to keep going, to keep hoping, and to witness both the struggles and the beauty of this world.

Maybe that’s what keeps me grounded, the belief that even in heavy times, there’s still light worth holding on to.
