The College of Entrepreneurship, Tourism, and Hospitality Management conducted its pre-practicum formation program for CETHM 3rd-year students with the theme "Pause, Ponder, and Pray.

The primary goal of this program is to provide time for students to pause, look at the meaningful spiritual substance, and feel the warmth and compassion provided for them by the experienced speakers and facilitators. Specifically, it seeks to
โ€ข Strengthen students' coping mechanisms through peer support and engagement.
โ€ข Promote gender awareness and mindfulness, with a focus on mental health.
โ€ข Reinforce self-reflection, internalization, and the importance of spiritual wellness.
The program comprises 3 sessions:
The first part, which is Pause Wherein it focuses on self-awareness and self-reflection, a lecture by Ma'am Melowin Romero, registered guidance counselor.
The second session, which is Ponder's focus on social dynamics and individual differences, is a lecture by Ma'am Irene Daguasi, University GAD focal person, together with Ma'am Lovelia Iringan, who highlighted the importance of discipline in our lives. How discipline will help us to succeed in life.

And the last session concluded with the prayer, which was given by Rev. Fr. Giovanni Vincent Wacas.Rev. Fr. Giovanni gave the students a deep understanding of prayer and how prayer can change the life perspectives of individuals.

This program is a tradition of the CETHM department before they proceed with their respective practicum area. This will help them to be prepared physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
