The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) advises the public to be cautious of unscrupulous individuals and fake pages posing off as the official page of the Department to solicit money, offer fake employment opportunities, or promise expedited processing of documents for overseas employment.
The DMW has monitored such fake page named “DMWs CARE” that illegally uses the DMW logo to advertise overseas job opportunities. The DMW also received reports on the unscrupulous individuals disguising as DMW employees to offer fake overseas jobs, and promise expedited processing of their employment documents.
The DMW reiterated that it does not solicit money or provide unauthorized services through unofficial channels. We urge everyone to verify information only through the department's official platforms.
