Just tuned in to Joyce Pring podcast and it really made me pause. Capturing one of the highlights on how our culture sometimes shames women for becoming mothers and pushes us to quickly go back to who we were before. The truth is, motherhood changes us in the most powerful way and that should be honored, not hidden.

longing for the day na mahanap ko ulit ang sarili ko. I hope someday I’ll truly feel like me again, the version of myself that isn’t buried under exhaustion.

But I’m slowly learning this truth: pahinga is not a luxury, it’s a necessity. Hindi ko kailangang maghintay hanggang ma-burnout ako before I allow myself to rest. Rest is part of healing, part of finding myself again. 🌿
