Breastfeeding my son since he was a newborn has been one of the most meaningful journeys of my life. It hasn’t always been easy—there were long nights, tired moments, and times when I doubted myself—but every latch, every cuddle, and every quiet moment reminded me why it was all worth it. It became more than just feeding; it became our connection, our comfort, and our little world.

Watching him grow strong and healthy because of something my own body provided felt empowering. It taught me patience, resilience, and the depth of a mother’s love. Every time he nestled close, it felt like a silent “thank you,” a bond only the two of us could understand.

And now, looking back at how far we’ve come, I’m proud—proud of the sacrifices, the consistency, and the love poured into every feed. Breastfeeding my son from newborn days until now is something I will always treasure, a chapter of motherhood that shaped both of us in the most beautiful way. 💙

My husband saw our son for the first time a month after he was born. We waited so long for that moment, so when he arrived, it was a mix of excitement, nervousness, and pure happiness.

He became emotional the moment he held his son. All the exhaustion from the long trip and all the days he spent far away while I gave birth—everything seemed to disappear. I could feel how much he wished he could’ve been there from day one, but because of his job, he couldn’t. Still, the moment he saw our son, it made every sacrifice worth it.

And even though he saw our baby a month late, the connection was instantly clear. The way he looked at our son was full of love, and it felt like the baby instinctively knew he was his Tatay. It was a beautiful reminder that distance may delay moments, but it can never lessen a father’s love. 💙

My husband never allowed me to give birth in a public hospital or a lying-in clinic because he wanted nothing but the safest and best care for me and our baby. It wasn’t about luxury—it was about making sure we were both protected, comfortable, and well taken care of.

He worked hard and planned everything so I wouldn’t have to worry about anything on that day. His priority was my safety and our child’s well-being, and he made decisions with so much love and responsibility.

That choice reminded me how deeply he cares for us. His effort, his sacrifices, and his desire to give the best for our family showed just how committed he is as a husband and a father. 💙

Parang everything suddenly made sense, as if God aligned everything perfectly in His own timing.

Hindi lang kami mag-asawa ngayon; we’re future parents learning, growing, and preparing together.

This journey feels both humbling and magical at the same time. To be blessed this soon after the wedding reminds me how faithful God is and how beautifully He writes every story.
