🌍💪 National Earth Day 2024: DRRMLYMPICS & Ecofestival Celebration 🔥🚑
On November 14-15, Padre Burgos Central School held a meaningful celebration for National Earth Day through the DRRMLYMPICS and Ecofestival. The event featured essential life-saving skills, including Basic First Aid, Fire Suppression, Proper Bandaging, and Safe Patient Transport—all part of Basic Life Support training to prepare our learners for emergencies.
We are deeply grateful for the support of Nancy Maraon Public Schools Disctrict Supervisor, School Principal Joy Clydeth Maypa Goff and all the teachers of Padre Burgos Disctrict, as well as the efforts of the DepEd Southern Leyte Division and DRRM of Social Mobilization Networking under the School Governance and Operations Division. A special thank you to Sir Samson Clarus , the Division DRRM Coordinator, Ma'am Glaiza Mea Rin, April Lynn Gaviola , Atty. Junior Felipz Felipe R. Sanchez, Maria Leila Vergel Aguilar, Zedrick G. Malbas, Jun Steven Perez, Railan Saavedra and SGOD Chief Dr. Boy M. Bayon Alfredo M. Bayon for their dedication. We also appreciate the support of our Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Josilyn S. Solana for making this event possible!.
A big thank you to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for their invaluable contribution to the fire suppression training and for helping make the event a success.
