Thread [I wrote this while watching, these are just notes]
[Posting this as a bookmark for me to compare later on, these are my unfiltered thoughts, so don't take it to the heart, it would make more sense when you watch the performance]
1. Strings
YES, YES, YES! F*ck YES!
The cameraman is on point. Good work!!
The stage, the colors, the energy — the stakes feel higher now.
The dance breaks are fire, and BINI is really pleasing the crowd. Smart move giving them segmented dance breaks. My eyes are glued the whole time.
Bro, they are bringing the heat! F**K YEAH!
The member intros had me dying . Lost opportunity by the cameraman for a proper frontal shot, but it’s okay.
2. Zero Pressure
Smooth transition into “Zero Pressure” + muha.
Loving the camera work — Coachella is redeeming itself from Week 1.
Audio is clear too. Work it, camera op Gwen!
Love Sheena’s hair, it really suits her.
The cameraman is more balanced now, though I still prefer full-body shots over headshots.
The “OOOO” part in ZP is my favorite. This song lives in my head rent-free.They’re maintaining a strong pace.
This is really fast for them — two songs with demanding routines back-to-back. A slow-mo shot would look insane. I hope they do this in MOA. I’m dying at how great the dance break transitions are.
3. Outta My Head
Another go-to song. Loving the high-impact lineup. They’re not dropping the energy at all. They’re using backing vocals, so there’s some echo, but it’s clearly live.
Normally the bridge gets help from Six Part Invention. BINI needs a live band for their next Coachella performance.
Damn, Stacey! The hair color and outfit are fire.
Every member is bringing their A-game. This is such a proud moment. Let’s go!
Btw, they still need a bit more work on the camera for this song, but it’s a massive improvement over last week.
Love Mikha calling out the crowd to jump — the wide shot really sells it. Thank you, USA Blooms!
Woah, the crowd is packed, especially considering how early they performed.
4. Member Talk
Haha, Maloi using Tagalog and talking directly to the fans. Loving how they represent the Philippines. If you’re Filipino, you should be proud.
Outfits and hair are on point. You can see they’re well in control — not breathing heavily like crazy. Their endurance has clearly improved. Shoutout to their coaches!
5. Karera
I knew they’d slow the pace a bit after starting so high. Good balance. It’s funny how I have these songs memorized even though I don’t fully understand the lyrics.
Mikha in Karera is divine. The cameraman finally gave Aiah some time — Aiah was working the camera!
I can see a lot of hearts falling haha. The talent is insane.
Vocals are stable, and OMG they’re really working the camera this time. They clearly took notes from the first performance.
Crowd energy is on point too.Aiah walking with the camera and singing to it — yeah, good work, coaches.
Loving the playful energy. Honestly, covering BINI feels like an 8-man job. They’re doing great, especially with the adjusted routines.
6. Salamin, Salamin
They finally let Aiah chill properly. The hair of BINI deserves its own fandom — I would sign up. Big fan of the hair shakes.
If you notice, the camera ops are giving everyone equal treatment this time. Wide shots are the key.
They’re missing the mark a little on the cam work, but this is a hard song to shoot. They only had the wide shot camera available.
The dance breaks divided into segments is such a good idea. Haha, the cameraman gets confused sometimes. Bro, just keep it high up — they always move into the center! I guess they got confused because there’s so much going on.
I probably would suck too if I had to cover them at Coachella. This routine is so hard to shoot.
7. Blink Twice
They did better this time on camera — slight improvement — but they still have issues with tracking.
By the time the shot is ready, another member is already singing. They can’t keep relying on wide shots all the time.
8. Cherry on Top
They’re keeping the pace high. You can notice the movements are intentionally slowed down in some parts — they’re pacing themselves. Vocals are stable AF.
Maloi is bringing the heat again. She is the wild card — never change, Maloi!
The stage camera clearly prefers Maloi haha. Can’t blame him — Maloi knows how to bring the heat.
Overall, very pleased with the camera work this time.
9. Breather Moment
Another session to catch their breath. You can see them pacing and breathing. EEEEYYYYY — yeah, I did the “eyy” too .Crowd energy is on point! YOU NEED TO SCREAM MORE!!!
10. Blush
I love how Colet fixes Gwen’s strap. They really look out for each other — that’s one of the things I like most about BINI. They genuinely support one another as a team. Can’t wait to capture this moment in MOA and Cebu. I’m gonna do it justice.
I feel the cam ops are torn between showing the member singing and the group routine. They still need more practice, but BINI actually gives you enough time for both solo shots and group choreography.
11. Bikini
Simple prop for Bikini, same as the first performance. They kept the song list mostly consistent with minor changes. I see some improvements in coverage, though they still linger longer on Maloi instead of switching quickly. They missed some of the shake moments, but I’ll take it.
12. Pantropiko
Man, this song needs slow-mo so bad. Vocals are rock solid. Okay, they nailed the camera this time — wide shots are always better.
They had a Gwen section but still missed it. Was there an issue with the backing track? I felt it wasn’t perfectly synced (could be just on my end).
Still going strong. Dance breaks are always fire. Pacing is the key. Last song, so they went all out. Sheena is just a blessed dancer. F**k yeah — all synced!
It’s criminal not to capture this in slow-mo. Loving Colet’s hair too.
OH YEAH, going all out!
Claps CLAP CLAP!
Good work, girls! You deserve it. What a wonderful performance.
This is just the start. Besties did an amazing job — high marks all around.
Only slight issues that you probably won’t notice unless you’re paying close attention. Proud moment for everyone involved.
PH flag waving at the back as BINI walks off. Let’s go!
Used Grok to make the gibberish make some sense :D.
