Tsunami Alert in Leyte, Cebu, Biliran

Naglabas ng “tsunami warning” ang Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) para sa tatlong lalawigan sa Visayas matapos ang magnitude 6.7 na lindol na tumama sa Cebu Martes ng gabi.

Sa payo nito, hinimok ng Phivolcs ang publiko na maging alerto para sa mga kakaibang alon, na binanggit na ang mga tao ay dapat "lumayo sa dalampasigan at huwag pumunta sa baybayin" ng mga sumusunod na lalawigan hanggang sa maalis ang advisory:

Cebu
Biliran

🙏 Comfort Prayer for Cebu Earthquake Victims 🙏

Heavenly Father,
We lift up to You all those who were affected by the earthquake in Cebu.
For those who lost their lives, may You grant them eternal rest in Your presence.
For the families left behind, embrace them with Your love and give them peace and strength in this time of grief.

Lord, we pray for the injured, may Your healing hands restore them.
For those who lost their homes, may You provide shelter, comfort, and provisions.
Protect everyone from fear and aftershocks, and surround the community with unity and compassion.

We trust in Your promise that You are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1).
In Jesus’ name we pray.
