Story time:
I started my partime Job in the Market. At first I was just watching my boss making rice juice until months go by specially summer ,I was running it by myself.
Season changed- spring,Autumn winter
- and I got really good at it.My arms got stronger,my hands more skilled.
FUN FACT: I used to see rice juice in k-Drama…and now I’m the one making it!Hard work,growth,and nostalgia all rolled into one-and I love it🥰😂

My Story:
After midnight on December 24, I found myself endlessly scrolling through facebook.-watching how the Philippines prepared for Christmas.The bright lights,the noise,the laughter,the feeling of home.Without warning,I became emotional…almost cried.
I,here in Korea- far from my family,far from home.Christmas here quiet,It’s doesn’t have the same warmth and liveliness I grew up with back in the Philippines.And in that moment,I felt the distance more ever.
I didnt even know if my husband would be able to take me out.I knew he hadn’t been feeling well lately,and I didn’t want to expect anything.I told myself it was okay-maybe this year would just be different
But still…he took me out.
And in the simple act,my heart felt full again.I was so,so happy-more than words can explain.
Maybe it’s because he truly understands how important Christmas is to me as a Filipino.He’s seen it himself-how alive,joyful,and full of love the Philippines becomes every December.He knows Christmas isn’t just a date on the calendar for me;it’s a feeling,a memory,a piece of of home I carry in my heart.
Thank you ,my love,for always giving me what my heart is quitely craving every Christmas.For choosing me even when it’s not easy.For understanding me in ways I don’t always know how to explain.
You may never fully realize it,but that means more to me than you will ever know.🎄🤍
