Thank you to everyone who attended the screening of La Última Campaña.

What was shown during the premiere was a special screening version prepared within our production timeline.

As we move toward its online release, we’re taking the opportunity to further polish the film, refine the edit and pacing, and include additional scenes that were not shown during the premiere.

Our goal is simple: to present the most complete and intentional version of La Última Campaña before sharing it with everyone.

Last night's screening of La Última Campaña was something we'll remember for a long time.

Seeing our cast, crew, friends, and supporters gathered together reminded us why we started creating in the first place.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, talent, and energy to this film. From the actors who brought the story to life, to the crew who worked behind the scenes, to everyone who showed up and supported us, thank you.

Special thanks to LAWIS 24/7 for giving us a place to celebrate and share our work with the community.

This film is one step in a much bigger journey. We hope it opens more opportunities for local artists and creatives, and inspires more stories to be told from our island.

MEET THE SPANISH.

Set in Madridejos, Bantayan Island during the early American period in the Philippines, La Última Campaña explores the tension between the Philippine Army and the remaining Spanish military presence.

Capitán César Centurión serves under Heneral Nicolás Velasco. Where others act with caution, Centurión moves through the battlefield without restraint. Unpredictable and relentless, he thrives in close combat, often pushing himself directly into the heart of violence.

Armed with both a pistol and a sword, he favors close-range encounters, closing distance without hesitation. His movements are direct, personal, and difficult to anticipate, even by those fighting beside him.

His reputation is not built on command or distance, but on the intensity he brings into every fight and the unease that follows wherever he stands.

While others lead from the chaos of the battlefield, Velasco is known for his measured approach and firm belief in maintaining order.

Tama Mata is a Filipino soldier known for his loud energy and constant humor. He is always talking, joking, and turning even serious moments into something lighter.

There is also a running joke among the camp that he struggles to lift a basket, no matter how many times he tries.

To his younger sister Nena, he is a protective older brother who looks after her through simple routines and promises. He also shares a close bond with his childhood friend Miguel, where familiarity often feels stronger than rank.

INDEPENDENCE DAY UPDATE 🇵🇭

Today we honor Independence Day.

We also want to acknowledge that many were expecting the release of LA ÚLTIMA CAMPAÑA today. Instead of releasing it immediately, we’ve decided to move it to something even better a special screening experience on June 15 | 8:30 PM at Lawis 24/7 🎬

This gives us a chance to share the film properly, together, in one place, with the cast, crew, and community present as it unfolds.

The production continues with care and discipline, as we aim to offer this film as a tribute to our history, culture, and people through cinema.

For now, we’ll be releasing character portraits and story introductions leading up to the screening.
