Long before Azurethor became the legendary Storm Serpent feared across the kingdoms, Marlogos found him as a small, wounded creature hiding among the ruins of an ancient temple, too weak to defend himself from hunters who sought the mysterious power sleeping within him. When Marlogos finally stood surrounded by enemies with no escape, the skies darkened and Azurethor descended from the storm—not as a beast answering its master, but as a loyal friend returning an old promise. Only then did the world discover the creature's true identity: Azurethor, the Ancient Storm Serpent, a legendary guardian born from primordial magic whose loyalty could never be commanded by kings or sorcerers, because it belonged freely to the one person who had loved and protected him before the world learned to fear his power.
