☺️🔥❤️
𝗪𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗨𝗣 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 😨
I took this selfie the other day.
Okay naman. Lean. Maayos.
Masarap pa rin daw sabi ni GF. 😂
Pero ang sumunod na thought?
“Grabe… tumatanda na talaga ako.”
Wrinkles.
White hairs.
Lower energy than usual.
At hindi 'to yung dramatic "I'm getting old" post ha.
This is me accepting na hindi na ako yung 22-year-old na pwedeng mag walwal tapos mag-gym pa kinabukasan.
Dati madali lang yun eh. Ngayon hindi na.
But after that, I had this weird wave of gratitude kasi bigla kong naisip:
Buti na lang, fitness yung first love ko.
Buti na lang, insecure ako sa katawan ko noon at ginawa kong priority ang fitness.
At buti na lang, naging business ko sya at naging reason for making it a lifestyle.
Kasi kung hindi?
Baka ngayon, instead of aging gracefully, I'm aging desperately.
But because I invested early, ngayon I'm reaping its benefits:
✔️ Confidence that doesn't fade with age
✔️ Energy to keep up with my dreams
✔️ Discipline that carries over to everything
✔️ Self-respect na hindi dependent sa validation
✔️ Being a good example to the people I love
All because years ago, I built systems around taking care of myself — before life forced me to. 🙏
So if you’re in your 20s or early 30s:
This is the perfect window.
Build your habits now, habang mataas pa ang energy at kaya pa sumabay ng katawan.
And if you're in your 30s, 40s, 50s and haven't started yet?
Start soon, and please don’t wait for symptoms before you take it seriously.
And to everyone reading this:
Don't wait for your wake-up call — whether it's the doctor's warning, the pants na hindi na kasya, or the moment na wala ka nang choice.
Sabi nga sa quote na nabasa ko:
"If you do not make time for your wellness, you will be forced to make time for your illness." 😞🙏
Read that again.
