𝗠𝗥. & 𝗠𝗦. 𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗜 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗔 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

The air crackled with anticipation on February 18, 2025, as St. Nathanael Academy Inc. played host to the highly anticipated Mr. & Ms. SNAI 2025 competition. Every student was alight with eagerness, their cheers echoing through the venue, a testament to the support for their chosen muse and es**rt. Families, friends, and relatives filled the seats, their faces beaming with pride and excitement, ready to wholeheartedly support their loved ones as they graced the stage. The atmosphere was electric, charged with the spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition, as the SNAI community gathered under the banner of "One Faith, One Family: Celebrating the Spirit of Christ in Every Nathanaelian!"

The evening unfolded with a series of captivating segments, each designed to showcase the unique talents and personalities of the candidates. Beginning promptly at 5:00 PM, the representatives took to the stage, commanding attention with their poise and charisma. From the vibrant production numbers to the elegant ramp competitions, each candidate shone brightly, captivating the audience with their confidence and stage presence.

Adding to the evening's vibrancy, talented SNAI students surprised the audience with their incredible performances, filling the intermissions with music and dance. A nostalgic moment arrived as last year's reigning Ms. Intrams 2024, Ms. Precious Kyla Mae S. Garcia, and the Greek God winner for the last year's founding anniversary of SNAI, Mr. Jayron C. Garcia, took their final walk, passing on the torch to a new generation of SNAI ambassadors. The crowd erupted in applause, a fitting farewell to their reign.

Before the awarding ceremony commenced, Mr. June P. Sotto, the School Director, took the stage to deliver the closing remarks, expressing gratitude to all participants, organizers, and supporters who made Mr. & Ms. SNAI 2025 a resounding success. His speech emphasized the values of sportsmanship, confidence, and camaraderie, leaving the audience with a sense of fulfillment and inspiration.

As the final notes of the intermission faded, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived – the announcement of the winners. The tension in the room was palpable as Ms. Angeli Anne D. Ocampo and Mr. Arsi Z. Salac, the masterful hosts for the evening, prepared to reveal the results.

A thunderous applause filled the hall as Roman Kyle Cosio and Trizia Jane Caligagan were crowned Mr. and Ms. SNAI 2025! Congratulations to the winners, their teams, and their dedicated teacher coaches, whose unwavering support made this victory possible.

The event's success was also ensured by the esteemed panel of judges: Mr. Maynard M. Gabriel, Mr. Aimiel Flores, and Ms. Melissa Jane M. Pineda. Their expertise and fair judgment played a crucial role in selecting the deserving winners of the night.

𝗦𝗡𝗔𝗜 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗮 𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗥𝘂𝗻

St. Nathanael Academy, Inc. kicked off the morning of February 19, 2025, with an exhilarating Color Fun Run, bringing together elementary, junior high, and senior high school students, along with teachers and staff, for a 1.6-kilometer run filled with colors, music, and fun. The event, held from 6:00 to 7:30 AM, aimed to promote physical activity and foster camaraderie among students while creating a lively and unforgettable experience.

Participants eagerly lined up at the starting point, and as the run commenced, Student Government Organization (SGO) officers stationed along the route threw wet and dry colors at the runners, turning the course into a vibrant spectacle. Laughter and cheers filled the air as students embraced the colorful chaos, making their way through the designated path.

After reaching the finish line, the fun continued with a Zumba dance session, allowing students to shake off exhaustion and celebrate their achievement through energetic movements. As a grand finale, the local fire department provided a refreshing water hose shower, much to the delight of the participants.

Ensuring the safety of the runners, Barangay Officials diligently scouted the area, while teachers and staff took on different roles—some joining the run, others monitoring the students, and the school nurse following closely to attend to any health concerns.

The event also recognized outstanding participants, awarding the first finishers in each category:
𝐒𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟 𝐑. 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐳 (Grade 6) for elementary,
𝐗𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐌. 𝐊𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐢 (Grade 9) for junior high, and
𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐁. 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨 (Grade 11 HUMSS) for senior high.

“The Color Fun Run was more than just a physical activity; it became a celebration of movement, freedom, and community spirit.” said Mr. Reigner Isada, one of the MAPEH teachers of the school. Students left the event covered in colors, smiles, and a newfound appreciation for outdoor activities.

𝙎𝙉𝘼𝙄 𝙅𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙑𝙊𝘾𝘼𝙍𝙀 2025: 𝙀𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙅𝙤𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙑𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣

City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Selected Grade 10 and Grade 11 students from St. Nathanael Academy Inc. (SNAI) proudly joined VOCARE 2025, a Vocations Festival held on February 8, 2025, at the Mother of Good Counsel Seminary, Del Pilar, CSFP. Organized by the Archdiocese of San Fernando, this year’s festival centered around the theme “The Joy of Being Called.”

The event gathered 834 young participants from different schools and parishes across Pampanga. Through inspiring talks, interactive activities, and engaging discussions with priests and nuns, attendees reflected on their spiritual callings while sharing experiences with peers. The festival fostered unity by merging schools and parishes, encouraging participants to explore their faith together.

Accompanying the SNAI delegation were teachers, Sir Jener Lacson and Sir Heron Lacanlale, who guided and supported the students throughout the event. SNAI participants, alongside other delegates, enjoyed free snacks and a ₱60 food slip, ensuring a comfortable experience throughout the day. As they immersed themselves in this spiritual journey, they carried with them a renewed understanding of vocation and the joy of embracing their calling.

𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱𝗮 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁.

The Grade 11 HUMSS and ABM students took center stage, showcasing their talents through prose and poetry performances. Each group had the freedom to choose their theme and genre, allowing them to express their creativity in unique and meaningful ways. Members of the Theater Club actively assisted with the preparation and were also given the opportunity to witness the performances firsthand. The event was hosted by Grade 10 St. Ildefonso students, Patrizia Lynne Rivera and Cirrus Tiangco.

Performers went above and beyond in their presentations, incorporating props and costumes that enhanced the themes of their literary pieces. The audience was captivated by the performances, with many expressing admiration for the students’ dedication and creativity.

Jay Ann, a member of the Theater Club, shared her thoughts, saying, "The wordplay was filled with so much enthusiasm, making it enjoyable to hear." Meanwhile, Justine Dominic, a designer from the Theater Club, praised the performers’ creativity but also offered advice, stating, "Personally, I was amazed by the creativity they’ve shown through their poems, prose, and creative writing. Some even managed to express their deeply felt experiences and convey them in their poems, which takes a lot out of you. However, some of the performers were nervous, and that affected their performance. I advise them to be confident—just a bit goes a long way."

The Theater Club President, Aira Louise, also shared her excitement, saying, "Earlier, when I watched the performances from the Grade 11 HUMSS and ABM students, I was truly blown away! I could tell that every single one of them has the potential to be a writer. You could see how much emotion they poured into their writing and performances. They were AMAZING! Each one of them truly made me feel the emotions of their piece. I really hope they keep writing because they showed such a unique and incredible talent today! PASAVOUG! CONGRATS ULIT, 11 HUMSS AND ABM!"

One of the host, Patrizia Lynne Rivera was stoke with their performances, saying "As the host of the event, I really enjoyed their performances. Kasi they tackled important issues in our societies especially related to our country, harassment, agriculture and how we forgot our roots as Filipinos. I also liked how the poems related to romance had multiple types such as first love and being heartbroken. I liked how they talked about embracing your insecurities too. Their performances were extraordinary to how they acted their pieces in costumes. I truly hope they'll continue writing, I'd love to read some of their pieces in the future."

The second host, Cirrus Tiangco also shared his excitement with his statement, "A lot of the performances were very creative. I personally got hit by some of the pieces about heartbreak. I also appreciate the ones tackling issues. The ones I find most memorable would be that one guy who splattered blood on his shirt while performing (I was really hit by his poem too; very relatable) and the girl who was crying then when she was finished and broke character faster than how I switch moods. I also loved the one about insecurities because it was very very so very true and relatable and I am sure a lot of us- maybe even all of us have our own form of insecurities. I was completely... Utterly ineffably blown away. I admire their confidence, courage, and artistry. To sum it up in one word: oh wait, I can't... I cannot count nor think of how many words I can use to describe everything that happened."

Christmas Eve has come again
The golden lights shine from above
Down to the busy street with a cheerful glow
On cue the bells rings at play
Causing smiles that shine bright as a day

Christmas Eve has come with ease
With lights that decorate a small pine tree
The days flew by like a breeze
Wind ice cold, enough to swing free!
To which this day brings peace
Including smiles full of glee

The people gather and rest
Love is spread with a heart that's true
Together with love that God gave with his best
Prayers are spread, all day through!

𝙗𝙮: 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙞𝙖 𝙇𝙮𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝙍. 𝙍𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖

The flight back home as my family awaits me at the airport. The exciting feeling of Christmas flowing through me. Christmas in the Philippines is such a beautiful event. Once "ber" months roll in, you can hear songs by Jose Mari Chan, Mariah Carey, and some old ABS-CBN radio Christmas songs. The spirit of Christmas is felt throughout.

During December 15 to 24, families attend Simbang gabi as they greet and praise Jesus Christ on his birthday. Children can be heard every night caroling using cans, bottles, and even trumpets as they spread joy with their enthusiastic voices. On Christmas Eve, families gather as they'd help prepare Noche Buena. Catching up with each other's lives, sharing old memories, and the moment of how family time is the most important. Visiting family members who live far away, going to malls, and visiting cemeteries.

Of course, we shall never forget those who are celebrating Christmas with Jesus himself. They may have left us early, but their memories live on. They will always be a part of our Christmas Eves and holidays no matter where we go. Shall we never forget the days they'd make our Christmas feel complete with their characteristic behaviours such as the way they laugh, dance, or even sing.

As the plane lands in the airport, I am ready to experience the beautiful holiday that is Christmas. Spending time with the family I support is such a fulfilling feeling as an Overseas Filipino Worker.
