After a day of adventures, we headed to Don Genaroโ€™s Resto Bar for some good food and drinks while enjoying the mountain views. ๐ŸŒ„๐Ÿฝ๏ธ

Honestly, ang sarap kumain dito lalo na after a long day. Definitely a spot worth checking out when you visit Shepherdโ€™s Ridge!

Our day before stepping into Sleepy Shepherd wasnโ€™t the best. We were tired, stressed, and honestly just needed a break. Funny how a change of scenery can shift your mood without you even realizing it.

The kids immediately ran toward the sheep, and seeing how excited they were instantly lightened the mood. They had so much fun feeding them and taking turns on the ATV. Their laughter was contagious, and before we knew it, we were laughing too.

I found myself slowing down for the first time that day. Coffee in hand, sitting by the dipping pool, with nothing to think about except the cool breeze and the mountains in front of us. It wasnโ€™t a grand moment, but it was exactly what I needed.

We didnโ€™t leave with some life-changing experience, we just left feeling lighter than when we arrived. And sometimes, thatโ€™s enough. Some places donโ€™t just give you pretty views; they give you a chance to reset. Iโ€™m grateful we found that here.

NOT YOUR TYPICAL LAGUNA HOTSPRING GETAWAYโ€ผ๏ธ

We stayed at Ligaya By Amethyst for a family getaway in Laguna, and it was such a relaxing place to unwind. Even though it was just our family, the villa is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate up to 30 guests, making it ideal for bigger family gatherings.

I really loved the design of the place. The warm wood finishes, tropical-inspired interiors, and open living space overlooking the pool made everything feel bright, cozy, and peaceful. The hot spring was a huge bonus, especially in the evening, it was the perfect way to relax.

The entire property was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Itโ€™s one of those places where you genuinely enjoy staying in and making memories with the people youโ€™re with. Weโ€™d definitely love to visit again.

Lately, weโ€™ve realized it doesnโ€™t have to be anything grand.

Sometimes itโ€™s just ending the day around a bonfire, feeling the cool breeze, watching the kids play, and staying a little longer because no one wants the night to end. ๐Ÿ”ฅโœจ

One of our favorite memories from Sleepy Shepherd in DRT, Bulacan. The kind of place that quietly reminds you to slow down and enjoy whatโ€™s right in front of you.

I guess happiness really does look different for everyone. This is what ours looks like. ๐Ÿค
