Since becoming nomads, we've stayed at some crazy places! But this was one for the memory books! We certainly are flexible, and don't require anything fancy, but this certainly caught us by surprise! This was a nice historic hotel, but one thing was missing -- the roof! I couldn't understand why it was so cold in our room until I discovered what WASN"T on the other side of the ceiling! I LOST my MOUSTACHE in Taiwan!

As full-time midlife nomads, sometimes it's hard to know where to go when you need something like a simple haircut! Join me in Taipei, Taiwan as I seek out a local barbershop for a much-needed haircut and a clean shave. Even though it was a remarkable experience, something was lost in translation, and I lost my Moustache in the process!
