I honestly don’t know how you manage to embarrass yourselves with statements like this. If motorcycles aren’t allowed to lane split or filter, then what’s the point of using them at all? Like we’ve said before—most big bike owners have cars anyway. So fine, we’ll just drive those instead and add to the traffic. What can you even do about it? Nothing. Just like we can’t do anything about your ridiculous rules. 🤷‍♂️

Base sa international standards, ang mga motorsiklo na may 400cc pataas ang engine displacement ay hindi na kinakailangang gamitin ang motorcycle lane.

Gayunpaman, mahalagang tandaan na hindi pinapayagan ang lane splitting o pagdaan ng mga motorsiklo sa pagitan ng mga sasakyan sa dalawang magkatabing lane.

To all the car drivers who’ve suddenly become aggressive toward motorcycle riders and now go out of their way to block us from filtering—thanks to the MMDA’s new rules that seem to empower that behavior—what exactly do you gain from it? Honestly, I’m curious. Does it actually bother you when we pass by? Let’s not forget—you’re in your air-conditioned cars by choice. We’ve chosen to ride under the scorching Manila heat. Different choices, same roads.

Great! But here’s the issue, MMDA — most, if not all, big bike owners also own cars. So what’s stopping them from simply using their cars instead of their motorcycles? That would only add to the number of vehicles on the road and worsen traffic. Motorcycles actually help reduce congestion by taking up less space, but it seems like you’re more concerned with how traffic looks than how it actually flows 🤷‍♂️ *ayon sa pagaaral namen* might just mean, we just want traffic to look pretty.
